| Short turn around after the second half collapse against Leigh. Unbeaten Barrow rock up to Odsal this Sunday. Hopefully we will see the return of some of the injured players.

| Best of luck to the marketing team! Reckon it will be season ticket holders only turning up.

| This game could prove pivotal to our season. Morale is on the floor and I don't think we'd recover from being 1 win in 4. If we can get a victory, 2/4 isn't bad when you consider the players we have to come back. Plus some of the teams above us have some very thin squads so will be really hurt when injuries bite.
It will be one hell of a scrap if we want the win. Not sure if we have the heart for it though

| Early forecast is heavy rain and 40mph winds. Another mud bath of a game on the cards.

| Daft as it sounds this seems a bigger game than Leigh. We were never going to get anything from tonight, we need to be competing and beating the teams around us. League is already and probably was before round 3, a two horse race and the rest fighting to be best of the rest

| Really don't fancy us at the moment. It's a must win game. With a poor weather forecast it'll be a sp crowd. Better not be a repeat of the Sheffield performance.

| If Jowitts out, it'd go with an extra forward like Butler at HB. It's going to be another mud bath so don't think we'd get much change out of playing a full back/Winger there.

Is it really a 'must win'? In what sense? Surely you saw enough last night to know that any hopes of promotion are futile. This league is completely busted and things aren't going to change any time soon. My hat goes off to anyone still bothering to turn up to games because I'm just completely apathetic towards it all now. This league will never be a level playing field.

| I can't see us winning this either. Our players will be huffing 20 minutes in, and Barrow will taste blood and finish us.
And I imagine the teams' morale is almost as low as the fans...

I feel exactly the same. It isn't fun anymore.
But then when we were "billy big balls" in SL, winning stuff by cheating the salary cap, I imagine the lower teams in that league felt the same.

Do you think we won by cheating the cap? Or that we won AND broke the cap?

| I m kinda hoping we get battered. Surely it would force JK to look at what the issues truly are and possible make him think being hope with the Mrs is better than copping a flogging week in week out.

I see it as a must win in terms of ensuring people retain at least a partial interest in going to games. If we're not going to dig in and get a win at home to Barrow then why should the casual fan bother turning up?
I agree that we've no chance of going up but I don't think anyone has suggested it's anything other than a two horse race.
I wouldn't be surprised if it's postponed given the amount of rain forecasted.

Agreed. Just because we're not as strong as the top two doesn't mean we should take our bat and ball home and give up. Fev have built their squad over a number of seasons. We need to be consistently a play-off team in this league, for financial as well as moral around the club. So I see this as a must win also as the season could unravel and we've another rebuild/clear out.
