I'm not upset if it is Kear. Wealth of experience at all levels. Knows how to get his lads up for a game. Could be much worse.

More than a steady eddie. He's exactly what we need right now. We get one shot to get out of this division. It's going to be tough and very ugly at times. Having Kear fills me with more confidence.

I'd be thrilled if it's kear, almost the man I'd hand pick if I had the choice and could pair him with an up and coming coach as his assistant. Not just a steady Eddie imho. If it's kear and he's backed with a decent squad I can see us in one of the two promotion spots and me with a season ticket. Ill still wait to have it confirmed before I celebrate through.

Could not have got a better coach for where we are and what we need. Better than anyone we could have hoped for given our position and a pat on the back to the club for going after him.

IF it is Kear and thats a big if, i hope wakey dont tell the fans at there forum that Kear is leaving as it just sort of spoils the suprise.

Well it's bound to get asked and Michael Carter has always been honest with the fans. Think its asking too much for him to string them along for our benefit

Kear and Greenwood to me is a terrific pairing if it comes off and just what we need right now. Many fans were wanting him a few years ago. Hope it is true.
I can understand him wanting the job. He loves the sport and must be frustrated at Wakey not being the coach. Kear is a coach who loves working with players. And why not take on a challenge of getting the Bulls back up into a better league position. The hybrid system might actually suite him along with the Tong training centre and good academy set up.
The ST deadline is put back a week and I expect there to be a reasonable rush to get it at the lower price from a few hundred fans.
By this time tomorrow we may all be feeling much more confident about the next few seasons. I can't see Kear taking the job without full control of signings and being assured of the club being in a sound position. He must feel that things are looking better at Odsal and what a challenge for him to lift us again - although he would always get a job.
There will be many clubs supporters who would love to have him as their coach.
If it happens, well done Mr Chalmers and associates.

Kear is exactly what this club needs. If we get him I will be absolutely chuffed. Renewed my ticket on Saturday so this would be the perfect follow up.

With a young up and coming coach like Greenwood as his assistant and the guys they have brought in as strength and conditioning coach and physios, coupled with the great academy team of coaches already in place it would finally feel like we have a proper structure (and a very good one at that).
