| Well the club have finally realised that when you have an Early Bird Deadline, you are supposed to actually have a date when it ends.
rlLinkrl
So, standard ground admission will go from £149 to £199 after 9th December

| That's gonna be a tough ask on those waiting to see what happens with the court case. Court case no chance of being done before the end of that deadline, so those waiting will have to cough up an extra £50.
It's a gamble by the club I would say, hoping those people will decide to pay now instead. If the gamble fails, it's likely to leave them short of quite a few purchases they would have had with a deadline after the court case.
(Disclaimer: Doesn't affect me in the slightest, I have no intention of buying one regardless. Just thinking out loud about others on here who have stated they're waiting)

| I bought mine last weekend. They were adamant all would be fine. My response was...
"That's what Hood said. And Omar. And Moore. And funnily enough Green too."
To which they said,
"Andrew's only focus is to have a team out there playing".

| Well I bought mine on plastic last weekend and I've already submitted a provisional claim to the plastic company, as I assume we'll go bust every year, and if for once we don't, that'll make a pleasant change

| I'll wait until after the court case. By then I'm hoping we know who the coach is and which other players we've signed.

| Well I wasn't going to be signing up for a season worth of commitment regardless but I can't see many being sold at those prices after the deadline. If I understand it right.. the price freeze will actually be a price increase of £50 on 2017 Championship prices and with one less game included for 3rd tier opposition... or am I missing something here? Admittedly this year was dead rubber but it still seems on the steep side to me.
I will hopefully get to the odd game next year, but those prices would likely suggest that the walk up price could be going up considerably too so maybe not so many. Wonder if the new coach will be announced beforehand.. think that deadline was the 10th wasn't it?
Will wait for the warmer weather and see how the off season/early season pans out.

| If the walk up price goes up then I hope to God we're doing the business on the field or we'll be playing in front of sub 1k crowds.

| We've got ours. The price uplift should concentrate a few minds before the deadline. Don't see the point of buying after the deadline now. We're pretending the court case doesn't exist mind.

If you're missing it, so am I. That's spot on. Talk about a hard sell. But hey, target is 3,000 cash cows! Sorry, I mean season ticket holders.
I'm fully expecting them to try and get Geldof in the Marketing department. "Just give us your F***ING money!"

| I get both sides of this, eventually I came down (just) on the side of "If you want to be the same level as the average C1 sides then pay the same level of ticket prices as the average C1 sides".
But commentators could have a field day with the old cutting of cloth metaphors. There is no doubt if we are going to run as planned, then the ends of our standard cloth won't meet. Like last year, IMHO the presumption must be some more must be coming in from somewhere. And we have been told in no uncertain terms we are "not looking for investors" (!)
Puzzled? I am. But however they fix the cashflow, they only have one chance to get out of this division (again IMHO) sosomebody has to do whatever it takes to make that happen. I've bitten the bullet, surprising even myself a bit. But I can tell you right now that I wouldn't be shelling out £300 for C1 next year. Not under any circumstances barring something like the appointment of Wayne Bennett, and the signings of Billy Slater and Cameron Smith.

| On the positive side:
1. Re-signing our better young players.
2. Decent S&C coach in place.
3. Youth set up going from strength to strength.
I'd like to have seen our head coach and assistant in place by now and a few more proven players in the squad. If we do that soon and get through the court case unscathed I'm fully on board.

| I'm glad that my place of residence in the gloriously freezing hills of Lancashire basically makes me a walk up supporter so I needn't sweat over this decision

In wholehearted agreement, I bought for the same reason but they won't see £549 in 2019 for C1.

Same. I'll be buying a ST. I think we get one shot at getting out of this division. I've invested too much over the years to walk away, so i'll throw some money in to try and help us get out. If we get out, I do think we can rebuild. If we don't manage it, we'll be stuck down here for a long time. I won't be buying a ST next year for C1 either.
We do have a good chance of going up though (which has also persuaded me to invest in the club) with two teams getting promoted. Either by finishing top, or via the play-offs. If it was the same hideous, middle 8 farce as what handicapped us in 2015, i would have been out.
