So a tough away trip to Sheffield which will be spicy to say the least. Be a tough job lifting the teams morale at the moment. Larroryer going, is another blow. Hoping Bentley and possibly Peltier will be back. Sure we'll have some players from Widnes in the side but the state they're in at the moment, i don't think they'll add a great deal TBH. Need Leeds to lend us a hand.

If the Widnes thing turns out to be true, it would be nice to have Jay Chapelhow & Danny Craven. Chapelhow has been playing ok in a poor side from all accounts, but didn't play last week with the likes of O'Carroll and a couple of others back. Danny Craven also isn't playing now they have Mellor & Gilmore fit again, and he would be an improvement in the halves than sticking with Pryce & Thomas.

Perhaps Nas fancies coming back to the Bulls on dual reg too? He's not played much for them.


If we don't have any recruits coming in though, we may as well give Sheffield the two points now.

If we can get Peltier back, that will be a big boost. Hopefully Lilley will come back as that will allow the backs to play in their natural positions. Be nice to get Smith back too but no idea what's up with him. The players that return from injury could just be as important as the players we bring in.

A season long loan for Nas would really help us out

Expecting another stuffing unless we get some serious reinforcement.

Hope there are plans to bring in some players pronto or crowds will really drop off. Nobody will want to pay to see our kids getting smashed.

They won't, but plenty of us have already paid for the season.

Next season is going to be one hard sell. Especially if, as seems inevitable the current state of the place, we lose yet more of our best current squad.

Well I was in two minds about going to Sheffield. Unless we have half the Widnes side in the squad I’ll be giving it a miss. It’s a crucial game and we’re looking like being stuffed. That really doesn’t reflect well on the owners. We surely knew things would be tough around Easter and we seem to have done nothing to make it easier.

Wouldn't say we need half the Widnes team, but a couple of big lads transforms the team. If we can get Lilley and get the back-line settled in their natural positins then we're fine in that department.

As i said' the players we get back from injury could just be as crucial. Peltier returns and we suddenly have four props plus Roche in at loose. Thats a half decent pack with Bentley back in the back-row too. Add Chapelhow and suddenly we have a good big pack. Take Peltier and Chapelhow out of the 17 i put up earlier and stick Hodgson & Wilkinson in, and suddenly we look Massively light-weight. 2 players makes all the difference.

I think we need a couple of big lads from Widnes and Lilley to get anything from this game. Peltier won't be match fit. Ideally he'll be back along with 2 big lads from Widnes.

We do definitely need Lilley back and Thomas back at fullback.

Sheffield have some big lads of their own and will be smarting after we beat them.

Yeah they're playing at Belle Vue all season.

Craven is out injured for a number of weeks and Manuokafoa is back in Oz on compasionate leave. They are probably the weakest squad in SL and have a boat load of injuries, its a strange club to dual reg with.
