Quite a predictable outcome unfortunately.

We didn't deserve to win, we need to learn to go for the players legs to stop them making yards when we've tackled them. We also can't cough up that much ball and expect anything else.

I thought they slowed us down well and we just didn't do the same to them. The ref didn't really have control and there were a few bizarre decisions but that wasn't to blame for our defeat.

We need to learn quickly if we're to do anything with this season.

I would disagree with your comment i thought we decent for such a young team, unfortunately the ref played a large part in our defeat, whilst we did not help ourselves by giving up the ball at critical times the refs decisions were very poor and largly benefited Rochdale.
Rochdale did not deserve to win the game a draw would have been a fair result, i thought Leon was poor today sometime you need to lead from the front a I'm sorry but he didn't.

Here we go again, It's the refs fault.

Too many handling errors cost us today. Being caught on the half way on 5th tackle is a sin. Being caught twice is unacceptable. Thought the ref was bab. Rochdale played well and deserved the win

Rochdale were much bigger. On day like today that was always going to count in the end. We did well in the first half but too error prone in the second.

Outmuscled massively up front. Great effort and commitment from the kids but it wasn't enough.

Hope we can sign some forwards soon or these kids are going to be shot to bits in no time.

Injured, needs an op too iirc. And on top of that, no confirmation that he's still a Bulls player.

Proud of our young team despite the result. It is all too clear that the reason we are losing is because we don't have the strength and power that the teams full of men we are coming up against have.

Every time Rochdale ran at us they made massive metres and finished most sets in our 20. Every time we ran at Rochdale (with the exception of Oledski and Peltier) we got stopped in our tracks, turned and marched backwards. We barely got over the half way line in the second half.

Samir's try was a prime example of this when despite having 4-5 guys on him he was still able to get over the line.

No Phoenix's or Lee Smith's are going to fix our problem.

As most have said it's forwards we need. It's like our relegation year when we had no experienced props. All we were able to get in to start with was an unfit Jamal Fakir. We looked a lot better later on when a few more arrived.

We also made more handling errors than Rochdale which cost us as our only two chances in the Rochdale 20 in the second half went to ground.

On the plus side, I think we will face some worse teams than them this year and hopefully some better conditions.

Men V boys but I was proud of the boys. Rochdale deserved to win they played to a plan of driving from acting half until into our 20 then opened out. They are a well coached team and are better than some give credit to. Its a long way to go till Sept and yes we do need some experienced forwards which I hope will materialise. Also 4100 on a terrible day.

First time I have seen this team this season, and although the result was disappointing, I am not overly down heartened. These young lads have got a lot of spirit and fire and they don't take a backwards step. Ultimately, they were not big enough, strong enough or experienced to grind out a win, and they made silly errors to put themselves under pressure. We do need some muscle up front and soon, but there is the makings of a good team in there.

I was disappointed with Pryce, he looked unfit and disinterested. And the less said about the referee the better. But still, at least we are in a position to moan about poor decisions. We would have taken that a few months ago.

It's exactly as we've all been saying for the last few weeks - we won't win any games in this division until we sign some more experienced forwards.

I agree Pryce brought all his experience and game craft that he knows... I.e was missing for about 65 mins....

Thought Rochdale played the conditions well. Ran straight and hard not trying arcing runs or jinking between defenders which cost us our footing and momentum when we should have been doing the same as the opposition...
