Am I the only one thats getting a bit fed up about this concept. Don't get me wrong... the day out is all very nice but the fact we always get drawn against the bigger teams is not right.

If the RFL want a big day out, IMO they should dust off the 9's concept and have it as a separate competition.

It may be a big day out for some but as it's in Blackpool it's a case of get in and out as fast as possible for me, or watch on TV.

Haven't missed the weekend yet - once inside the stadium,always enjoy the games and the day.

Made the mistake of staying in Blackpool once - never again - hell on earth.

Will be staying in Lytham again next year and wouldn't miss this or Magic Weekend either - love them both...

He is quite well known for his portrayal of Blackpool, but I would guess the tourist department aren't too happy with him

What a complete farce of a concept. Is there even any logic or process to who gets drawn with who, other than we seem to have drawn another tough fixture once again. I won't be going.

I don't understand how you can not have a good couple of days in Blackpool - although Lytham is fine too, if you want something more genteel. It's not as if you HAVE to go to the places where all the bozos hang out. We had a great time last year (and the year before) and really don't see the problem.

As for the fixtures - what do people want? A bye? Yes, it is a tougher fixture - but the bonus is that, if you win it, it's a 4-pointer against one of our main rivals. And a tough test and good prep for the playoffs, being a big crowd and a big atmosphere. Will stand us in good stead.

But above all, a tasty game to whet the appetite. Would you really prefer a bye against some whipping-boys? Really? What would be the point? Bring it on, I say.

Is it correct we will get the ticket included in our season ticket this year??
