Two fixtures confirmed.

Pre-Season Friendly for Joe Phillips Memorial Trophy at Keighley on Sunday 29th January, 2pm KO.

Summer Bash game against Hull K.R. on Saturday 27th May, 7pm KO.



Nice to see the Summer Bash will again go against us as we have to play the best side in the competition one more time than everyone else.

I'd be surprised if we didn't play Rovers first game of the season, similar to when we got relegated and played Leigh first out.

As soon as KR got relegated you could see this coming. Stinks for us, again. I'm convinced if they want to continue with this kind of event that actually has an impact on the league table, they should have a draw like they do for the Challenge Cup. It's entirely fair that way.

I mean, I suppose I get it. Get the two big crowds together for the Saturday night game on Sky. Make it look busy for the TV, have a good game/spectacle etc. I understand that. But Christ is it going to kill Sunday's attendance having us and KR on the same day. I mean Fax can knock a good crowd together when they want to but (and with all due respect to the other clubs on Sunday) that's going to be about it.

I get it, but I'd love to see how it's justified as fair to have a team that finished in the Championship Shield face the newly relegated side, whereas Batley that made the Qualifiers play Dewsbury. I know they want the Heavy Woollen Derby, but the 4 teams from the qualifiers should be playing each other in some format.

Be good to play Leeds again

Mick Gledhill seemed to accidentally/intentionally let it slip we have Hull KR in February.

Away, first game apparently

I'm shocked. Really.

So even though we finished fifth, we still get to play hull KR in the opener and at Magic Weekend. We should be flattered. Still good to get the season off to a flyer by winning that one.

All to be revealed tomorrow at 1900 hours according to the their facebook page.

Would rather not have had HKR away on first game of season, but hey ho.

Glad we are heading to KR early in the season. Get it out of the way.

Without doubt the toughest fixture of the year so might as well get it done with first up and maybe even catch them cold. Will certainly show where we are - or aren't - after Rohan gets a full pre season

Think the Easter fixture will be crucial. Probably the toughest we could have had. Nice trip to Toulouse for the May day bank holiday weekend!

Tough opening game. They'll be a bit of momentum with Hull KR, similar to what we had when we were relegated. New season, New teams etc..hope we can burst their bubble like Leigh did to us.
