| This is a game we have a habit of loving up. Hope we don't fall in love with our selves and come out with the same attitude and intent as the Whitehaven game

Absolutely agree. We need to come out and start with the same purpose and intent as yesterday. Put the game to bed by half time..
Knowing us it will probably be a 14-13 win with a last minute drop goal

| I'm hoping for the same as yesterday. As you said pit it to bed by half time. Then a draw between Featherstone and Halifax would do nicely oh and London to beat batley.

| We stuffed Oldham on their patch with effectively half a team. I would expect a similar result to that one this time around, considering the players now available to us coupled with home advantage, which should offset the fact they were part timers playing three games in a week.

And they had a team that most of them had done a full day's work before the match too. Yes, we should still be stuffing them, but the midweek game isn't one to judge it by.

Agreed.
However, this is a game we CANNOT afford to stuff up. Promotion or not, for the sake of our income next year we have to finish in the four and with all that in mind we can't go into the game in any kind of half d, we only need to turn up, sort of manner - not even if that is, to some extent, true. We all know what happens to basically 'good' teams who don't turn up for the fight; they get beaten. We certainly should know, 'cos we've been following such a team all season and seen it too many times already this year.
I'm not suggesting for a second we treat it as a cup final, but we MUST turn up determined to win the physical battle, and treat it more or less in the same manner we do against Leigh. Last weekend's results seem to have thrown us a lifeline and we must try to take it, so no complacency, get stuck in and if we're 50 points up by half-time I really won't care about anything else.

| Also Oldham have been competitive in pretty much most of their games this year. It will be a scrap early on. I hope Rohan's hammering the point home that just because we put 60 passed Whitehaven, we shouldn't be trying to score on every play. Get in the dog fight, complete our sets and let Chisholm and Moss produce the magic.

| Well, we won't know until kick-off what mood we're in, but they have got Barry Manilow doing the pre-match show with "Could It Be Magic"

To be honest BM, I wouldn't expect any side coached by Scott Naylor to be anything less than competitive. If we match their physicality we definitely have the class to put plenty on them - but we won't do that if our pack is going backwards. We should be physically fitter and hopefully, if we're at least their equals mentally, then we should win easily. Which is all very easy to say...

| But you all know that we will murder poor old Oldham, they're playing us at just the wrong time, and should be quaking in their boots. Stop beating around the bush and tell it like it is.

| Providing we win, can anyone see either of Batley or Halifax slipping up this weekend allowing us to take into our own hands in the final round??

Big games this weekend.
Think if we beat Oldham, London beat batley and fax beat fev it should be down to us and batley for the last spot then all we need to do is avoid a loss at fev dead easy right. Provided barley don't rack up a record in their last game.
