| Think there's the realistic option and the wishful option here.....
Realistic - probably Morrison
Wishful - then you'd go for Mouri.....I mean Elliot or Bennet - neither will happen though...

| Noble for me. If we did ask i'm sure he'd come to us even if he has already committed to Canada.
Think it will be Morrison, which i won't be too disheartened with.

| It's going to be Morrison I think. I'm 99% sure it'll be him. I wouldn't be unhappy with that choice. I'd not be disappointed with Naylor either who seems to have that ability to get a team to play above itself - a skill that few coaches have. My only reservation with him is his lack of experience but then Morrison is relatively new too.
Harris - No he could put a glass eye to sleep. McDermott or Anderson - doubt they'd be applying since they have jobs.
Brian Smith? Possibly. Ideally I'd have him working with Morrison or Naylor rather like Smith did with Elliott back in 95/96. Smith could take over a backroom role looking at recruitment too - perhaps relieving Steve Ferres of that part of his job. I would expect a dual recruitment would be too costly so won't happen but I think this would be my "in an ideal world" solution. Smith could also advise Robbie in the role of being a chief exec. Robbie is one of his proteges after all...

| We need a complete change. We've flogged the club connections over past years and its not worked out one way or another.
I'd have gone for John Kear had he not already been committed to Wakefield for 2017.
I'd go for an external with little/no baggage. Don't know enough about the game down under since it switched from Sky but I'd imagine there are some talented assistants that could do another Michael McGuire style job.
Need a none of the above option

Don't think Naylor's got the credit he deserves with what he's done with Oldham. He got them promoted after they had failed before, and that was in the season FIVE teams had been relegated from the championship. Oldham's budget is probably pitiful compared to the rest of the championship, yet he has got them competitive in this league. The KR victory was probably the icing on the cake.

| I have been told that the Bulls have made an approach to the Rhinos with regards to Brian Mac's availability/current contract situation at the club
I'm not sure if there's any truth in this or even if Mac would fancy coming back home ?

| TBH, I wouldn't mind Morrison coming in as head coach with Naylor as his assistant.
Morrison has had 3 good years at Dewsbury to cut his teeth and turned them into a solid mid-table team which is not bad given the likely budgets he'll have been working with as well as the part time environment and it's time he got chance to step up to a coaching a full time setup.
Naylor is doing a good job with Oldham and is certainly a good motivator going by their giant killing in the cup, but I think he's still a little too raw to take on a head coach job at this level.

| Posted on the other thread by mistake.
I'll throw in Brian McClennan as we've already a few Rhino rejects.
And Ian Millward just because no-one would want him so that would be nailed on.

| Right, that's as many as I'm adding, so you can all re-vote now (it's wiped them for some bizarre reason)

Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

WTF is McNamara doing on there?
After all FA, if he [iis[/i the top class coach that you claim him to be then he would hardly be interested in a lowly Championship side now would he?
