Think we did well to hang on Hull go forward for most of the match was better than ours . I think gaskell is going to have a field day next season. Also I think kear was better at full back defensively than Kearney today. But we won even thought we weren't great all match and that's a good sign for me.

Another great performance from O'Brien too, he looks to have really grown into the 80 minute hooker role. Ferguson is another that looks like he's back to full fitness just in time to destroy Championship defences.

Won't be especially sorry to see Kearney depart though, you never feel like he'll make a one on one tackle.

Some proper dick head hull fans stood near us in front of touchdown bar.The language from them aimed at us,and they had young kids with them,was very nice.I know all Hull fans are not the same,got to admit there was one or two of us that would of gladly stopped down to their level

I'm still amazed we've managed to keep hold of Gaskell for next season, but I'm certainly not complaining. He was involved in almost everything creative we did today, fantastic.
Sidlow also needs special mention. How many minutes did he play today? 60? His work rate was outstanding, and he bagged a nice try as well!

As for Hull, they should have beaten us today with the pack that they have. We only had two recognised props out there today, and with the wind and driving rain in our faces they should have been out of sight by half time.
I'm not sure what the issue with them is, with the squad they have they should certainly be challenging for the top 8.

Adam Henry has impressed me under jimmy has been a different player , also agree sidlow played all first half and a lot of the second . Not been gales biggest fan but he is showing good signs of quality

Great performance. Especially pleased for Arundel and Pitts who really looked to enjoy getting one over on their parent club.

The boys we have already re-signed are playing great and really filling me with confidence for next year. Hope we manage to keep Addy, Williams, Gale, Pitts and Blythe. Those guys are the ones that played today that I'd be disappointed to lose. Saying that Arundel was good so I'd be happy if he signed on too.

Can anyone explain the rule about kick offs not going 10m as that Hull try was extremely confusing! The ball appeared to go the 10m but then blew back inside the 10m. I thought that would be deemed as not going the 10m???

As soon as the ball crosses the line it has gone 10 metres. it can then get blown back into their own half and it would still be ok.
