| 3rd overnight and all the teams who can overtake us are away from home tomorrow. Six wins away from a play for spot, COYB.

| Positive signs for what we can do with a near full strength side and a decent surface to play on. We scored eight tries and had at least three ruled out from what I can gather.
Sammut on fire, Gale back and set a couple of tries up. Plenty to be positive about right now!

| 5 points out of six in nine days, with two away games and a small squad.
Worth putting a few early shillings on Franny for Coach of the Year?

If he's not up there, then there's questions that need to be asked.

| I thought the bulls were superb today. I don't think I can recall a single error in the second half. Great atmosphere from the bulls fans too

| It was a slow start from the Bulls and we gifted a couple of scores from some sloppy errors. Whilst we had plenty of possession in the Broncos half we struggled to break down a fairly solid defence. The stray pass by Kearney on the HT hooter when the line was begging that led to London going the full length to score could have been a real match killer for a side without our resolve.
The 2nd half was a completely different story, once we kicked it up a gear the Broncos had no answer to our quick PTB. Watch out for the break from Kear which led to one of Sammut's tries, a real quality piece of play once again from Elliot Kear. Whilst Sammut will take the credit for some real flashes of brilliance which led to the tries I think Luke Gale also had a big influence in the 2nd half with his kicking game. Kept the Broncos pinned back which ultimately left them empty on gas. I must admit I did wonder if a flat performance might be on the cards against Salford or London but credit to the lads for a huge effort over the Easter period.
Nice to see a decent following from the Bulls which looked to outnumber the home support.
Must also mention the Wycombe stewards and bar staff, some of the friendliest and most helpful I've come across on my travels. Would gladly go back to Wycombe next year for this fixture.

Kear was getting slated on BCB and yet I thought he's looked good so far, what was the reality?

| BCB are complete morons?
Kear certainly had an excellent 2nd half and took a couple of difficult kicks with the sun in his face and generally worked hard for the team. Bronocs did score a scrappy try down his side but it was in the far opposite corner to where we were sat so I wouldn't like to judge whether he was at fault for that. His sideways run across the defence to break from our 30m was a real stunner though. In fact there is a couple of tries I'm looking forward to seeing again in the replay.

Most of the stick was in the first half and stopped after his break for Sammuts try. They seemed to be pointing the finger at him for most of Broncos tries....
To be fair the guy said he'd come out second half and redeemed himself but I was still curious about the first half. Not seen him as being a weak spot or slow which what they were saying. All seemed abit weird.

| Gale controlled the game well in the second half with his kicking game. Sammut played very well in the second half. The break from Kear for one of Sammut's tries was brilliant. We were Very good in the second half.

| Kear's copped for a bit of stick on here at times this season too. Mostly after the Widnes game IIRC but I didn't see that or the highlights. He does seem to have the odd defensive lapse but at other times be safe as houses. I think for the Catalans game their second half resurgence happened down his side when I think Whitehead was his centre.
Two of the Dixon tries happened within a minute or two of each other right before half time.
Personally I'm a big fan of his. Maybe won't get a sense of it out of context but looking forward to the highlights to see what happened.

| One of his strengths I believe is he generally gets us a quick play the ball. Once he hits the deck he lands well and is back up quickly

This would be the same bcb that slated sammut first half and tried to backtrack second half?

Aye that's the one. I'd let them off with the Pirate Midget though, he's brilliant one minute and anonymous the next. That said worth it for spells like today.

It's not that I have a problem with, it's how black and white they see things. If we're losing we're the worst team ever, but if we're winning then were the best ever. No shades of grey in between
. Plus the five minute rambles about nothing in particular while balls in play
