It was that idiotic and not funny thread about last weeks game being off that was the death knell for me.

I just don't need to read that kind of rubbish.

The rest of us aren't on half term.

Neither are all the kids at school.

There's no point in posting much unless you are in agreement with the self appointed ruling clique on this forum because you will be roundly slagged off. This is a forum in the same way that Pravda was a news paper.

I read the thread on Friday and jumped on a train to Hull thinking I wouldn't be caught out again. Made the walk from Paragon station to the KC Stadium (not that far for you but I only have one lung) only to be told the game actually was off!!!! So that's a train ticket you indirectly cost me there!!!!!!!

I think the malcontents could do a lot worse than go and play on the Wakey forum. They are far more open-minded and accommodating, and tolerant of and open to dissenting opinion, than ever this forum is.

It does feel like the lull after the storm. Speaking of other boards, the Hull board can run up 100s of pages about absolutely nothing and like HKRs suffers desperately from each others fans arguing about, well nothing. I haven't looked for ages but Southstander long ago drowned in a sort of dreary irony that passed for obtuse wit. Wakey is without question the most irrational and impenetrable to logic, but still fun.
