You can hardly blame anyone for trying to get Keith, he's as good as anything in SL. Tremendous credit to Lulia for rejecting the approach, it is just another example of the team spirit that has been built up at the club. I'm made up, as he is one of our top key players and as this sends out a great and positive message.

Spot on FA. It would have been a bad move on many levels to have agreed that one, not least when we need to sell tickets for the coming season. It's a statement of intent from the club which deserves a good response from fans, particularly any who are still wondering whether to buy a season ticket. |

Reading the comments from Duffy it was actually the club that rejected the offer. They just informed lulia that the offer had been made. That said it sounds from Keith's twitter comments that he's quite happy to stay anyway. Really think the team spirit forged by the problems last year could make us a bit if surprise package next year. |

I admire his loyalty but wonder if it is as smart as Rangi Chase signing a long term deal with Cas a while back. |
