Rumours suggesting that Kopczak's move to Huddersfield has broken down with other clubs supposedly interested. Not sure how much truth there is to this rumour but seems strange that he would terminate his contract to try get a move to the Giants and then be unable to agree terms. Surely he would have made sure Huddersfield were offering the contract he wanted before terminating?

There could of course be the slight problem of his player registration. IIRC the RFL said they would do what they needed to do to make sure other SL teams kept to the non-poaching agreement?

No...just would mean the RFL would not register him to Hudds because they allegedly broke the anti-poaching agreement (if any of this was true). Nothing to stop him signing for another club - he declined to be TUPEd across from Bradford so is a free agent, and no other club is alleged to have tried to poach him against the agreement, so there is no reason for the RFL to decline to register his transfer?

Of course, if other clubs were to find they could not match the alleged Hudds package, potentially by quite a fair bit, and so Kopout found he was earning a lot less than he expected to, I feel sure all his former teammates would be totally gutted for him?

The thing is, even if another club wanted to sign Kopout they would still have to approach Bradford regarding his registration. So either he accepts the TUPE, though I'm not sure he can now he's handed in his resignation, the Bulls get a transfer fee, or Kopout sits out a year without pay.

Lets just hope it gets sorted quickly, we dont want negotiations about a player that doesnt want to play for us dragging on until next season per the Awford situation, we need to get replacements in asap.

depends entirely how much saints are paying him doesnt it. If he wasnt allowed to sign for hudds by rfl then saints could conceivably have got him for less money than hudds were allegedly prepared to pay.

Not at all, the only club/s who would have a problem are any club/s who broke the RFL gentlemens' agreement. It is the RFL who either agree to or refuse to accept registrations, it is a matter for them, and not for the club. Like Leeds could not stop Bradford getting Harris's registration.

If Kopczak is a free agent, then it wouldn't be an issue for any club who wanted to sign him. You could say that the former category of club would be viewed as sinners but the latter as saints.
