I believe it's the tv money advance which is paying the wages.

I don't think it'd be popular if we made the play-off's which is even more reason to do it.

Let's get one thing straight. You have NO IDEA what money has been paid and so like us you have to rely on the only information given which is that the RFL were asked to advance the Sky money. The only person claiming that the RFL is dipping to pay the wages is, er, you. It is just malicious, as you have no grounds to accuse the RFL of lying. Also you ignore that when we have home games these generate a thing called "income".

Also for someone claiming they're not bothered, you don't half spout a lot.

So sorry to have an opinion, and so sorry I am inteligent enough to see a flaw in a simple statement, obviously your home games will generate income, obviously not enough to pay your wages, or you wouldnt be in the mess you are in

Maybe you could enlighten the ' advance ' part of the statement, if it was money due to be paid, it wouldnt be an advance, so I'd suggest it is money not yet due, which will then leave a problem in the future

Well apparantly there are 4 unconditional bids on the table so somebody does want to buy us and pay our bills, its seems the RFL are dragging their feet...

I wonder what they'll come up with next? first its all bids must be "unconditional"...fair enough, then they've not recieved the sufficient "business plans" i would have thought attached to any bid would be some sort of business plan, then they need to make sure all "due diligence" is carried out....

IIRC clubs get roughly £1.4m per year from the Sky deal. That's roughly £117k per month. From what I'd heard the RFL's priority was/is to get Bradford through to the end of the season in any form. The season ends in October so that means the RFL could advance money due to Bradford in October, November & December (and possibly January - depends how they decide the yearly term) so that, combined with gate receipts etc, it sees Bradford through to September without actually costing the RFL anything.

But then that's not a conspiracy theory and doesn't involve either Bradford screwing the sport or the RFL "throwing money away", so it won't go down well on RLFans.
