He reports Bulls will probably call in the pledges middle of the week. Sounds like he might have an inside track here.
I will certainly buy his paper tomorrow.

Officialbullsrl has tweeted they won't reveal total until it's 100% accurate. Players are tweeting about it being reached, if Sadler has a news story then one would think it is true... Potential to be another PR mistake soon!

Looking at the official twitter and Sadler's, looks like League Express have scooped the club (I doubt they would choose the League Express alone to make the announcement). If so, whilst I welcome the news, I bet the club are slightly annoyed. The total may well have been reached today, but the reason for extending was probably to tip them slightly closer to £1m with a few last minute pledges on Monday night. Now, there won't be anywhere near as many tomorrow. (Not saying it's right or wrong, but it's all part of the plan, surely).
Of course, we haven't a clue what the clubs next move is, or if there is anything "official" in tomorrow's paper, but even if this is another massive cry of "PR disaster", it's probably because League Express want to shift a few more copies - not because of the club themselves.

Just got to collect the pledges now, what happens if people fail to pay up? I would think the club have a percentatge in mind that wont be paid?

I don't think the club have much option other than to collect the pledges, regardless of whether the total is a bit less or a bit more than £500k.
If they don't collect. then what were the sacrifices of legends such as Peacock. Pryce, Brian Mac for last week?
