Was massively impressed with this guy yesterday. Thought he was our best player in all honesty. Never took a backward step.

I don't know when his last NRL game was, but he hasn't played for a while, missed most of pre -season, hasn't played a game for months, so to come on your first game of the season after also having a ligament injury against probably the leagues best team is a credit to the guy.

He ran hard onto the ball, kept his legs pumping did alot of minutes and tackled hard. Looks like he has a decent offlload and looked like he had something about him, really stood up to the Warrington pack and looks one not mess with.

Early days yet, but very very good first impressions.

I didn't see a lot of him but looks physically in great shape for such a big man.

Looked slugish in u20's game against waky but he obviously upped his game, keep him fit he can only get better

going to be a difficult decision at year end which of sammut or manuokafoa we keep at end of yea rif they boh continue to improve. would imagine whichever we have to let go will be snapped up by another SL club an come back to haunt us.

I only saw him lose it twice and one of those was a ball rip which the ref missed. It was a very solid debut and he will only improve with more game time.

Yep. If Manuokafoa builds on that, and Sammut keeps impressing then it will be a bloody tough decision!

yes, unless we release one off the other overseas players who are all on longer deals. sammut has a dispensation for this year only. after that we only have one non fed trained spot available so can only extend one of sammut/manuokafoa's contracts. Unless we suddenly remember to announce an option for further years on sammuts initial deal, hence extending his dispensation
