Scruton should have been dropped anyhow, Burgess has played alot better than him for the past half a season.

Problem with dropping Scruton is that he is on big bucks compared to burgess so the club have to play him to justify his wage. He does good game time compared to tom's 10 mins so it's a no brainier suggesting Scruton be dropped- he did ok against wakey

Can't disagree with that. Scrutsy hasn't been the same since the problems with his hernia and wrist but, perhaps most significantly, since being diagnosed with diabetes.

My brother has diabetes so I know how tough it can be to get to grips with it in the first year or so following diagnosis. You're overwhelmed with advice from all quarters but the only way to properly cope with it is to find your own way and achieve a good equilibrium in diet, activity and injections. As a professional athlete, it must be a huge upheaval that changes everything you do in terms of preparation, training and diet.

At his best, Scrutsy can be a fairly explosive presence who can energise the pack and provide a real problem for opposing defences. For the last year he has just looked a bit jaded.

Tom has creases to iron out in his game but provides more of a positive impact than both Scruton and Joseph currently.
