[sizeIF[/size, and it's a big if, but if he was willing to pull his finger out I think he would be a good option to add a little more competition to the backline.
Having said that, it would probably be dependant on finding a club for Paul Sykes and/or Michael Platt.

| I'd be quite happy to see Karl back as he's much better than a number of players in the squad.

| Interestingly his Twitter picture is now of him playing for the Bulls. Read into that what you will……

| He would be a good signing. His job is to score tries and he does just that. Every club he has been at, he has a brilliant tryscoring record.

| good backup though hopefully one of Sykes/Platt would go to accomodate him. Every team needs some players that arent quite good enough to be regular starters as backup, but we're a lttle top heavy in that department at the moment (although most of players that I'd class in that category are youngsters who could still develop into decent players given time).

| He'd make a great prop if he got some aggression.

| I take him back as a squad player. He gets critisied (rightly) for not punching his weight or seemingly not playing up to his potential etc, but even with this issue he is still a better option in the backs IMO than some of the players we've had since he left.

| I think he would do quite well outside Keith Lulia.

Definitely needs to be played at wing I think. A lot depends on where Purtell plays. Cant see Pryce putting pressure on Kear or Purtell for a wing spot. If Purtell is in then could see Pryce putting some pressure on Ainscough though. Think thats pretty healthy as it keeps players on their toes if theres someone else waiting in the wings (pardon the pun).
Also gives us options in terms of what style we play depending on opposition, Either speed merchants on wing or big powerful wingers.

If Purtell is on the wing then aren’t the centre options Walker, Platt and Sykes (and maybe Whitehead I guess) at the moment? Pryce would be a decent option over most of that list.
It would be a good signing and give us comprehensive cover across the backs but I’m already reasonably comfortable with our options there. It’s the forwards that I still think need shoring up. "
