I'm amazed at how poor your team is, having not seen you much this year; poor players have replaced class ones over the last 5 years.

Most people have had to deal with upset/irate customers at some point in their working life and I'm sure Mick Potter is man enough to deal with it. It's not as though everybody was going crazy at him as you mentioned, just one guy.
There is always the 'Peter Fox salute' available for a Coach to get their feelings across to the supporters.
