| Looking for a job in Oz according to Garry Schofield and may not be here next season. He also says this is the worst team Bradford have had in Super League, and we need a Brough or Sinfield to take control of the game. He's right on that bit, but this years team on paper is better than the previous 2 years, and i think Potter will see out his 2 years before going home. Anyway if it was to be true get Nobby home.

| Why would he think that an Aussie club would want him?
Seems to me that he needs to prove that he can lick this team into shape first, before top NRL clubs come calling...

| He might be happy to take on an assistant or juniors job just to get back home, afterall that's the reason he was leaving Saints. I personally think he'll do his 2 years then go back to Oz.

| On the basis you're only as good as your last club his stock is diminishing at the moment.
It's a bit like a band having a few good albums and then releasing a shocker. Suddenly no one wants a piece of you anymore.
That said, Schofield is a gob e.

took the words right out of my mouth. Schofields got a long record of writing unfounded rubbish about bradford. wouldnt believe a word he says.

| Potter was massively disliked at Saints, I think they would have given him the boot and he knew it. The emergance of so many young players this year means his stock actually went up after he'd gone.
He will probably end up in the NRL, but as has been said it will only happen after he's turned it round with us.
Schofield said in 2009 he had it on good authority McNamara will be sacked after we lose to Saints at Knowsley road. Neither happened.

| If Potter does go at the end of 2011 (which I doubt he will) then either promote Cummings to 1st team coach or get Noble back. Only problem with Noble is will he continue to bring in youth while recruiting high quality players?

| Back to punditry now is he Schofield?
Seen as his coaching record makes McNamara look like Wayne Bennett, I wouldn't listen to a word he says.

| TBH, I wouldn't believe Gary Schofield if he told me the sky was blue. As for his "opinions" and "knowledge" of RL? I think his coaching record speaks volumes on both scores really.

| I must admit, I got quite excited when I read the words "Looking for a job in Aus...." Then felt terribly deflated when I reached "..according to Gary Schofield".
Never mind, we'll just have to wait until next year to get rid of the Messiah that never was.

40218_1286737075.jpg Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. (Winston Churchill):d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_40218.jpg |

Not true. Some people gave him credit for the young players while he was at Saints. At the time, I would only go so far as crediting him with integrating them into the team, when he really had no choice. But having seen the way Simmons has done it this season, when he too really has had no choice, I'd take Simmons' way over Potter's way any day.
When Jamie Foster won his try of the month award last month, he credited Matt Gidley with the improvement in his game, as Matt used to stay behind after training to help him develop. Jamie Foster was probably our most improved new player last season (only getting his debut halfway through the season). Take from that what you will.
What really divided Saints fans was the style of play Potter introduced (or some say furthered) at Saints and also that we looked fat and unfit, leaving us knackered in the second half. According to Flannery, Potter 'demands' that his players put on weight.
