| We will be fine. We have had a narrow and unfortunate loss against Leeds and got a bit of a tonking off the team that we all have to beat. It was a hard start, made even more difficult given the fact that it will take us a few weeks to gel as a side.
Look at Salford for example. They made some good signings and many thought they could have been a strong force in SL this season. Look how they have started? No completely going to plan there either at the moment is it?
But they will be fine, as will we.
Given the massive upheaval we have had in the pre-season it was always going to be difficult to hit the ground running as a side. We needed massive changes and as such we need to allow for some time for it all to click.
There have been quite a number of dissenting voices already. I think patience is needed.

| Agree. We've had a bloody tough start so far and without our first choice halfbacks and best forward for most of it.

| Was anyone genuinely expecting wins from the opening two games? We are very much a work in progress, and the performances have been nowhere near as disheartening as been made out.
I have every faith we'll get it right.

| It's gonna be a tough one for the bulls lads next up. They will be desperate to get the monkey off theirs backs. Think the saders may take the points if you are not on form.

Nope. In fact I was glad we got Leeds & Wigan first. Mainly because they were games we were highly likely to struggle in anyway, so better to use them for players to gel, rather than games we would otherwise be looking to win with a cohesive team.
That's not to say we can't beat Leeds & Wigan once we are all sorted, but better to have players learning to play with each other in harder games I feel. In the long run, I think that will be more benefit.
And I said repeatedly yesterday our main problem was the halves. Which is purely and simply down to injury (bad luck) and nothing else. Not sure we'd have beat a Wigan in that form with any side we could put out, but we certainly wouldn't have looked as bad with Briggs and/or Herbert running the show instead of Kearney having to do absolutely everything.
As gutted as I've been after the losses, I have not lost faith in this side yet.

| Well I did not see yesterdays game but I did follow the radio coverage online and whilst it was clear that we were beaten by a better side, a wee bit of luck going our way may have made a lot of difference.
However, to put it into perspective, we are rebuilding from being a laughing stock, Wigan will probably be crowned the best club side in the World next week. They are not there for no reason, just like us.
We will win more than we lose this season, I am sure of that.

| Agreed.
Its going to take time for the team to gel, we matched Leeds for 60mins and we were outclassed by a very good Wigan team yesterday.
I for one didnt come away from yesterdays game dreading the next im looking forward to seeing us improve and im confident we will do.

| Crusaders have had a solid start to the season but we should be very confident heading over there. It would be nice to have Herbert in the side right enough!

| Well said. It is still early doors and I still have a lot of faith in the players and the coaching staff.
We'll be there come September.

Just thought I'd remind you of your pathetic attempt to rile me up last year. Notice I don't stoop to your level.
Back on topic, after the way you played against Leeds, I expected a much closer contest this week. Could have, SHOULD have beaten Leeds, but thanks to some bad luck and questionable officiating, it was not to be.
It's a long time to the return fixture, good luck in the meantime.
