Very well played Bulls, the better team for most of the game. It's clear to see you'll be a force this season considering that was about new players in their first competitive game. We got a bit of luck and individual skill got us out of it, but I'd hope we don't get into similar situations often.

I know it's the first game of the season, but Gareth Raynor did exactly what Stuart Reardon did last season, 10 meters off the wing, giving opposing wingers loads of space, its not good enough.

IMO the bulls are back. Defence and attack was much better than last year. Today was just one of those games. None of the 6(?) video ref decisions went our way. Probably rightfully so but still. Last year we would never have lead this Leeds side 28-10. Still garbage to throw it away mind.

Chev Walker's try should have been allowed, he never played at the ball, neither was he looking at it, as the rules state, that try would have won us the game.

Yep poor discipline in the second half gave Whinos the impetus to come back, and with Balsawood as VR they were going to get reasonable doubts even if they were'nt!
But there were enough plusses to give one optimism for the season! providing discilpline is tightened up!

At the very least I thought there was a fair call for it to be our feed at the scrum.
