who do you think willl go down into the championship this year, and who will go down?

Also, what are your views on the current licence system,
for me its pointless, i mean whats the point in bringing a team to SL when at the end of the season they end up with 5 wins max,and have crowds of less then 3k? (The welsh joke and the clowns down sarf ) they will then be in SL for years to come because it ' expansion '. Expansion my rear end ! Crusaders and the quins offer nothing to this league, therefore they must be kicked out to allow teams like widnes and halifax in, bring back the simple relegation and promotion i say. As a matter of interest could you inform us how many games the mighty Leigh, Widnes & Fax won when they were last in SL? I'll give you a clue; in the former's & latter's cases it was less than 3. And the crowds?

I can tell you exactly how many games Fax won in their last year in superleague, it was 1. The first game of the season at London, and these points were taken off of them because of a salary cap infringement.

Now what exactly was your point???? If you want to use the past as a guide to whether they should be in Superleague in the future why dont you go even further into their past and look at the league wins and the challenge cup wins...

The last year in superleague, for fax, was a different team, a different coach and a different board of directors. But dont let that cloud your judgement that Castleford deserve a place in Superleague more...

I brought Cas into the argument because you are obviously a Cas supporter and it is you who was implying that neither Widnes, Leigh or Halifax would bring anything to Superleague.

I have nothing whatsoever against Castleford and I believe that they should be in Superleague, along with Salford and Wakefield. I am one who believes that London, Wales and France bring nothing to our competition.

My point was that you cant look at the last season in Superleague and then say that because of that a team would bring nothing to the competition, as the whole set up at all three clubs are completely different to their last year in the Superleague.

I promise you this. If Halifax were ever allowed back into Superleague we would bring more supporters to Castleford that London or Catalans ever will.

Before the franchsing system, Were castleford not up and down the league like Yo Yo's finishing in the bottom 2 ?. I think the answer is yes, Therfore then only thing that helped you stay in the league was time !!
Should other teams in the Championship not be given the same chance ?. Halifax and Widnes have developed their Teams, Their BOD, Their Stadiums. In 2008 Castleford bottom of table, then to 7th in 09 and last year 9th. Time has allowed you to BUY players in and get a reasonable team. Nothing else seems to have changed, especially the ground.

Like Halifax taking you to a Challenge cup golden point in 09 & Barrow Beating you in it last year ?. Poor do if championship teams are turning over a team in the Super League, especially the highly prestigious Challange Cup.

Having more M62 teams to SL will add nothing to paper interest, TV interest or fan interest outside that area = less revenue = less publicity = more young talent going to other sports or, god forbid, yawnion = decreasing standards, and so on. I would favour a further French team & a Cumbrian team to go with Quins, Cats & Crusaders, & would protect them as long as it is feasible. If that leaves 8 or so M62 teams who apply for licences as they do now then fine. If Cas then lose out to Fax, leigh, Widnes or Blackpool then they will only have themselves to blame.

Is any of the SL teams mentioned were playing the non-SL teams 10 times I know where I would safely bet my money.
