Do we think Matt Orford will feature at all in the game on Friday ???

Im guessing we'll be playing the academy players again with a couple of first team players thrown in for good measure like we have for the last three seasons.

I'll go for a Dewsbury 18-38 Bradford full time score with 2000+ there.

It will be interesting to see how the Bulls use this friendly. If we go down the Academy route then that leaves on the Hull KR match to give Orford a run out with his new teammates. Bit of a risk with a tough game against Huddersfield the week after. We could really do with a couple of games to help the combinations settle a little.

I suspect it will be like the Castleford game on boxing day with the first team playing half the game, maybe with Orford, and the academy lads taking over in the second half.

Either way, whether he's playing or not, they'll name Orford in the squad to get people there, as they did today.

I'm going anyway. Hopefully Orford will play, but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Don't think I'm going to be able to make this one, why don't people check for Bulls fixtures before arranging birthday parties?

I thought they had missed reading him out by mistake at Headingley today, but then when they read out the teams a second time I thought he hasn't been risked because of the pitch.

Macca said in his post match press interveiw today that Orford has not done an outside training session since he arrived in England due to the weather, and wanted to play today, but with the condition of the pitch the management decided against it. He may start at Hull KR.

I hope he does because it's not going to be the most clever thing that McNamara has done is it come Friday 5th February and just throw Orford in.

Hopefully Orford will do at least 20 minutes at Dewsbury then from 40- full game at Hull KR.

I don't think there will be many first teamers on Friday. I don't think we ever have played more than 2 against Dewsbury. Michael Withers always seemed to get pegged for it.

Will he be playing this week too?

Hopefully you'll send a decent squad, if it's even half as good as last year's it should be a good game.

Platt, R Sheriffe, Nero, Tadulala, Jeffries, Deacon, Newton, Menzies, Morrison, Langley, Godwin, Cook, Worrincy, Kopczak, Halley, Crookes, Crossley, Whitehead, Olbison, J Sheriffe, Straugheir, Horton.

Sheriffe will play, he needs all the practise he can get. I'm guessing that seen as we have alot of new players a fair few will play but only in the first half.
