Gareth Raynor has been released by Hull and considering our lack on wingers is he worth a punt? he might be a bit of a croc and getting on a bit, but if fit he would bring some welcome competition and probably on the cheap

I don't really rate him that much, but he's head and shoulders above Sheriffe, so he would be an improvement on what we currently have.

I'd take a punt on him if he's fit, quality winger at his best. Probably more likely to go somewhere like Crusaders who are desperate for players I would imagine?

No, I think he's due in court in April over it, which is why signing him now might be a bad idea.

From a playing point of view only, I would welcome his addition.
If the club are confident of the "other stuff" not being an issue, then I'd hope we'd certainly think about it

I completely agree with you though. If it was a purely playing point of view, he would improve our team. Unfortunately, it's not.

thing is if he gets cleared in april then he'll be able to demand a higher wage. might be worth getting him now on a cheaper 1 year deal and write it into contract that if found guilty contract is void. We get an extra option on wing for a few months for little money and no strings attached.
