| So then, which posh nobs went then? Though seeing as it got a mention on Radio 1 today, it can't be entirely posh.

| I'm there now. Not only did I attend it, I just presented the award!
To Dave Halley.
I'll post rest of results when I get home.

Poor old Platty. I know I shouldn't, but that really made me laugh.
(We should have started a campaign to get everyone to vote for Platt - he has improved in recent weeks despite people still having a go at him)

| If I remember right, these are who won the awards. If not, I apologise, I've had a few!
Trevor Foster Academy Player Of The Year = George Burgess
Reserve Grade Player Of The Year = Johnny Horton
Forward Of The Year = Nick Scruton
Best Back = Dave Halley
T&A Most Consistant Player = Glenn Morrison
Peter Lovett "Hitman" Award (Top Tackler) = Jamie Langley
Community Foundation Player Of The Year = I think this was David Solomona, but I'd popped to the loo, so couldn't say 100%. He was certainly on the stage accepting it, so either he won it, or he accepted on someone's behalf.
Prize Bull (Coaches' Player Of The Year) = Jamie Langley (I think, the memory goes a bit hazy at this point)
Players' Player Of The Year = Dave Halley
Player Of The Year (presented by yours truly) = Dave Halley
Nick Scruton also won a special award for winning the squad's dessert competition. He then picked up his forward of the year award while wearing an apron!
The evening was not hosted by Steve Bailey as advertised, but by a combination of Stuart Duffy and Robbie Paul, who it was good to see back at a Bradford do.
They also had a few videos, including one for Robbie and one for Trevor Foster. As well as a performance from some dancing girls.
Good night all round. And even better that I got it all for free, as well as the opportunity to present the prize. Awesome prize from the Bulls, all because I simply sent in an e-mail vote.

| Interesting!
Menzies didn't win a single award, I would have plumped him for forward of the year, but you can't really argue with Scruton's magnificent performances this year.
I like how Macca picked Langley too, the work he does for the team goes heavily unnoticed and he's a great asset, and a massive loss if the rumours of him being Wigan bound are true.
Would have loved to have been there, just saw £50 as a bit pricey for my student budget!

In all honesty, I didn't speak to them. They were chatting away with what I believe was Johnny Horton's dad or some relation (Johnny was sat next to him and they seemed like they were closely related), so I didn't really wanna interrupt. I just enjoyed the night.
Looking around though, the players were very well received by everyone and they made a real effort to make the fans' night an enjoyable one. It was all credit to the club for how they did it all really.

Not sure you could buy Langley for £50. Might need to throw in a couple of Kit-kat wrappers as well.
