| Was a fantastic tussle at Hull, never have I had such a dramatic game this year.
Hull were never gonna lay down and give that game away and boy did we work hard tonight.
Some tough calls, Glen's sin binning, I need to watch this one on the screen again, he's not a dirty player, not in my books anyway....Still, I'm open to view this one again.
Hard luck guys, you gave it your all, perhaps one game too far.
Bring on next season I say....... With a few changes though

| Well I honestly believe Silverwood misheard the TJ when he gave his report. I'm pretty sure the TJ said that Morrison did the first PUSH to which the Hull player retaliated.
When Silverwood spoke to our players he told Morrison he threw the first PUNCH. As a result we were penalised.
Upon watching the replays it's quite clear to see that Morrison never even threw a single punch, let alone the first one.
The high tackle straight after the kick touch was indeed too high, and due to the timing of it (ie right after he had just been penalised) he got sin binned. At first I thought he was going to show him a red, which would have been very harsh.

Trouble is if you go in second man trying to slow down the ptb you can't complain if for one reason or another you are penalised.

| Yeah we were really on the edge tonight, Langley in particular, but when the ref and TJ proceed to balls up what actually happened then I think Morrison had the right to be a little ed off.

| It was right to send Morrison to the bin. He had just been penalised and put in a high tackle.
The fact that the ref got the original decision so badly wrong would be slightly missing the point.

| Just got back. Good game tonight, shame its all over but at least we won tonight. Just a few thoughts;
-If we'd played like this from week 1 we would be in the 8 with room to spare.
-Well done to everyone who made it over, great away support and atmosphere tonight, just went a bit flat midway through the 2nd half when it was clear saints were not going to win.
-Morrison was a fool for getting himself binned, shame to end on that note.
- At full speed, 10m in front of me I would have bet my mortgage that the first hull try was a double movement, oh well.
- Deacon did not have a terrible game, he did well, but took a lot of late hits and seemed targeted as usual
- Lots of players put in a good shift tonight but honourable mentions to Menzies (awesome) Scruton, Lynch, Langley and Godwin.
- Funniest moment was when the lad two rows in front of me, who had spent most of the match winding up the Hull fans in cretin corner, stood up, removed his jacket to reveal a Hull KR shirt... to much amusement from us and much, much annoyance from the Hull fans needless to say he was promtly ejected a few min later.
-An enjoyable night, shame we screwed it all up months back, but there looks to be enough to build on for next season to me, roll on 2010.
COME ON YOU BULLS

not so sure about that, it was an entertaining game yes, but both sides have huge flaws and would have been beaten by better sides tonight IMHO.

True, but with room to spare maybe I meant 7th?
That performance tonight would have been enough to turn a handful of close losses we've had whilst playing much worse than tonight.
But in the end, neither of the teams tonight deserve playoff rugby this year, although i dont think you played tonight like a team placed in 12th, you looked good for spells tonight, but like us you cant seem to do it for 80. Anyway, I had a good night tonight, always like visiting hull, good crack with a few 'ull fans on the way in and out, heres to doing it all again next year.

I must have been sat near you because that's pretty much how I saw it.
One other funny thing though, there was a young skinny lad near the front aged about 13 and 5 stone wet through, gesturing and offering the Hull fans out. Funniest thing I have seen at a game for yonks.
