anyone know why steve was left out yesterday? did we rest him or has he got a knock, heard there was some illness in camp saturday night so maybe hes a victim of that.

Article in the League Express, that Menzies illness shows the signs of swine flu, so he was shipped back on the second team bus, in an attempt to stop it spreading to the first team

Its probably a load of rubbish as anyone with a temp is told they might have swine flu at the moment but we could really do with out the player dropping like flies !

At the reserve match - he looked ill, bit feverish, sounded croaky and described himself as being " a bit crook". If he phoned the help line they would probably tell him he has swine flu.

It can be quite dangerous for old people too. I hope he going to be ok.

It's on the back of the T&A today. He's apparantly been medicated and will be out for a few days. I'd expect him to miss the 1st game against quins but hopefully he'll be back for the away game.

Thankfully it was relatively mild, although I'm not sure I'd have wanted to be playing a rugby match at its height! I'd expect Menzies to miss at least one game - but to be honest we should be able to beat Quins in their current run of bad form
