Nio we aren't.

So Morrison doesn't have an impact on how we play. We play a lot better with Morrison and Deacon, Morrison is just a natural leader for us and -like it or not- Deacon does organise the pack around, even if his own game is worsening.

Thanks . I do agree with everybody that Deacon is not on top of his game, and even when he is he's not exactly the best scrum half in the league, but the one thing he does well is organise the pack, which we have missed without him.

If missing 1 or 2 players has that much of an impact I would be worried

Deacon - captain, organiser and goal-kicker

Morrison - vice-captain and real leader on the park and best forward (with Lynch)

Godwin - interchange hooker

Nero - best back this year

Crookes - backup centre in department we are weak in

plus Lynch playing on one leg, Sol playing on one belly...


OK its not the longest injury list you'll see, but its hit key players for us which is why people are making more reference to the injuries than might otherwise be the case.

If you want to be a good team you have to learn to cope with injuries, just like we do what seems to be every season

As usual Mick, you offer sound reasoning & I agree 100%. Once we get Deacon & Morrison back, we can turn things around.

Its amazing how missing 2 top players can disrupt the team - lets wait until the end of the season before we judge. MY TIP is that we make the Grand Final - just watch cos I am usually right with my my knowledge of the game
