Derby day under the Odsal lights (if we've paid the electric bill...)

Quick turnaround after the Sheffield game. Pretty much a full strength squad with the potential addition of Dane Chisholm. Will AOB turn out against his former club? Can the Bulls hit zero points?! Will Toovey have his visa?

Discuss the game here.

I'm not expecting a win. We're still light in the forwards and Halifax are a well drilled side. We can't afford to make the same mistakes we've been making in recent games against them.

Halifax seem quite an inconsistent side, very up and down. They always seem to be "up" when facing us though. Last few times they've wanted it more than us and outplayed us in every area. Our SL wannabe pussy cats were bullied off the field each time we faced them. We have a young set of lads now who lack anything but heart and are prepared to fight for the shirt and their team mates.

Hopefully Leon will be fit and keep everyone calm and composed when things are going against us and Scott Murrells running round the field like he's won the cup final just because we've knocked on.

Our half backs and backs are much better than theirs IMHO, but Tangata, Grix etc could steamroll our forwards. Fire in from the off and let them know that this time, we're not going to bullied off rhe field.

I expect a loss but i know this time we'll put up a fight.

They've got the same points us (theoretically) so, logically, we should be slight favourites at home.

They tend to raise their game against us, of course but there has been a new steeliness in our play (sometimes) this season, so hoping there is going to be a real determination to wipe the slate clean on Friday then it's going to be level, I suppose. The addition of Chisholm would be a boost, of course, so let's wait and see.

Over the last couple of years we have had the team with the ability but always underperformed against fax. This Friday though I'm expecting a real thriller. For the first time in years we will be going in as the under dogs but I think our young guns will do some damage. Zero party this Friday at odsal with our favourite neighbours round for company. They do always seem to raise their game against us but we have a big reason to be up for this game with it being potentially zero points and off the bottom of the league at stake.

Chisholm back for this one would be fantastic and give us another big lift. We may finally get to see the half back partnership we dreamed about at the start of the season in him and Pryce.

Really looking forward to it, evening games at Odsal are a rarity these days and there is something special about a game under floodlights (if we have any bulbs left).

I fancy us more to win this than awayvat Fev. It'll be tough but compared with this time last year we're more of a team and have more attacking options.

I fancy us to take the 2 points we dropped at Oldham this Friday. We're at home and the boys will be up for a zero points result

I really, really want the boys to do it this Friday - for all of us.

But my experience of Good Fridays suggests its going to be unexpected news - so I'm expecting us to lose.

I'd be 1000% happy to be proved wrong.

Is Murray likely to be recalled by Salford for a game or so over Easter?

Hope not or we're a bit buggered. I expect Hodgson to get another run this Easter to rest one of our props but apart from him we're no cover.

Has Jordan Roberts gone back to Leeds or is he still with us?

I'm sure i saw that Jordan-Roberts scored for Leed's' 19's at the weekend. I think Beattie said he expects Murrary and Larroryer to stay with us over Easter which is a big plus.

Is lilly back to leeds ? if so you have no chance.

Halifax results in march we have not lost apart from hull kr who we ran close. Are defence is solid so doubt you will score more than twice. Are we behind the sticks where we normally go or been crammed in the side like sardines with you lot.

3rd strongest defence if you go buy conceded points hull kr then fev then fax close behind fev

Its are attack where we are not the best
