Does he know the rules?

I'd have loved you to beat the Stains but Lynch definitely obstructed the kicker

Maybe they could have asked him if Childs should have let play go on for the penalty that edged Bradford in front. Or is it only in the last minute of the match when the officials 'have too much impact on the game'?

Heat of the moment I feel. He'll no doubt look at it and reflect that it was a penalty. There were several awful calls from Childs throughout, particularly around the area of balls being stripped when the tackle was complete. How many times today did the tackler just reef their hand away deliberately?

Wilkin even laughed when he did it..it seemed to me like Childs got no help of his touchies at all today, touchie shoudl have had a whisper in his ear, if James over rules him then he made a mistake but ref cant see everything that goes on when theres a few players in the tackle..every ref makes mistakes and no ref can see evrything but it was right in front of touchie and its his job to look out for that kind of thing.

Going to be a few quid of Diskins pay packet after saying that.

You could see the realisation dawn across Potters face as he was being interviewed, that Sky where setting him up having watched the replay to say something to get him into trouble.

It's a bit naughty from the media to get to watch the game again and again and know what the true call is, to then try and set up coaches and players for a controversial comment that is going to get hammered by the RFL.

I've a nasty feeling that those comments will be looked into further.

What he said, though, wasn't wrong in my opinion.

Was a penalty but Wilkins should have been sin binned for the high shot on Herbert! The inconsistency p*sses me off so much!

Poor game from the ref but not as poor as he could have been,i always thought what elima did in throwing the ball away was an automatic sin bin ?

There was so much edge stuff from players that could have gone either way. If he had penalised for every hand in the tackle. Not 1 set of 6 would be completed and we would all be on here bleating how the ref has ruined the game.

And how do you propose officials don't have an impact ?

If they give a decision it has an impact on the game one way, if they don't give a decision it has an impact the other way. If you don't have officials you don't have a game.

It was Lynch's stupidity that was at fault. If he'd done nothing they wouldn't be a decision to make and Bulls would have cleared up the nothing kick and won the game.

As for Diskin, it may have been an heat of the moment comment but the RFL will have to fine him with a warning about future conduct or it will become open season for sour grapes against officials.

Kicker taken out = penalty.

That one was the worst of the lot, but Herbert was taken out 3 times in that match and got nothing.

But is it fair that Players, Coaches, chairmen and even fans are allowed to be criticized but if a ref has a bad game everybody has to keep their mouths shut?

We can critise the ref as much as we like, but not the players or coaches.

Never heard a play have a go at another player on Sky saying they had ruined the game.

So it's not exactly an equal position the critisims for players and coaches come from.
