| Wigan and Wire appear to be the favourites in the RL press. Decent SL player, not sure why Wire need him though. Do Wigan?

Well Deacon is rumored to be retiring at the end of the year so I'd imagine he'd be seen as a replacement for him

| I'd love to be a stationery salesperson in Warrington. I could make my fortune in sales of brown envelopes.

| I'm thinking of organising a safari to Warrington, to see the peculiar local wildlife.
The highlight will be trying to spot some of these strange "Unconnected third parties" that rumour has it are to be found in considerable numbers over that way but are pretty well extinct in this neck of the woods. There might be the odd one or two still in Leeds, and a new colony has recently been postulated for Huddersfield, but few of us on here are ever likely to see one again unless we go travelling.
I'm not sure what an "unconnected" person looks like, so this should be quite an interesting trip. Does it mean, perhaps, that their heads are not connected with their bodies? Interesting thesis, although we have a few of those who post on here, so that does not seem likely? Maybe an odd sighting or two of these extremely elusive creatures, whose very existence, even, is denied by almost everyone over that way, might clarify a few things?
Their range is believed to extend northwards, even as far as Wigan. So if we do not sight any in Warrington we can take the scenic route back via St Helens and Wigan on the off-chance that we might glimpse one.
Should our search prove fruitless, we can always drop in at Rot Hall and get their take on the subject. I gather that they show such visitors a pen with three monkeys in. One is covering his eyes, another his ears, and the third his mouth. Apparently this is some sort of code for the official stance on the subject.

| Anderson, King are leaving, Clarke heavily rumoured to be going.
Not sure if fringe players like Blythe, McCarthy, Mitchell will be offered new contracts.

| Need to confirm the transport first. Something appropriate for dispatching the beasties as and when we come across them.
Having a few issues with the health and safety jobsworths, though. And I gather the good burghers of Wireland have suggested our trip may be a tad anti-social.
I'm looking to hire a fully-armed main battle tank.

How about we ask for the wire painted mini bus that surely would be able to guise a few teething problems... but we would have to promise not to look inside the panels.

| Warrington must be assembling two teams. They could withdraw from SL and play each other every week.

Signed for Warrington.. Parish doesn't sound too happy either.'"
He's just jealous that Ratchfords mum now earns more as a cleaner than he does as a professional coach.

| Level playing field my fekking arris.
Know what? The guy who said somewhere a day or two ago that a "points" system instead of the salary cap is the way to go? Structure it properly, and you have a convertl.

| A Wire team with superstar Ausies bothers me but I wouldn't get on my high horse about it because I know for a fact if we had a sugar daddy I wouldn't be complaining about it.
But loosing talent that you've produced through a lot of time and effort to teams with more money is a real kick in the teeth and needs to be stopped. Otherwise what's the point in in the richer clubs investing in their youth system when they can just nick the best of everybody else's, and what's the point in the poorer clubs investing in their youth because they'll only see a season or two of the fruits of it?
If a points system is the best way of stopping this I'd support it
