I did not go to yesterdays game, but listened to the BCB commentary. When Thomas got "pushed" behind the advertising boards, Mick Gledhill stated that not only where the players scrapping he alluded to that fans were involved too?? did I mis-hear that?!? is it true and if so...... surely there must be ramifications for whoever was involved

He also suggested that Toovey and Kelly also squared up during the same incident...

Anyone who went care to elaborate?

I didn't see any fans involved, but it was right on the hoardings, so maybe someone in the crowd had a dig.
Some of the Dewsbury "tactics" yesterdays were disgusting. But then with a referee so far out of his depth, and two linesmen who clearly could not see, they got away with it, so fair dos.

I absolutely thought Scott Moore was going to chin the ref at one point, the way he was looking at him whilst he lectured him about why it was a penalty to Dewsbury for them punching our player...

I was on the far side, so my view of the Thomas incident was somewhat distant.

But the hoardings seemed to be the only thing separating the pitch from the crowd in that corner, so it would hardly be surprising if any nearby spectators got involved - Thomas was basically thrown into them!

Thomas was held behind his try line then deliberately chucked into the railings. He reacted as anyone would and there was a bit of a melee with players rushing in. The ref binned Thomas and one Dewsbury player and gave a dropout. No penalty. No on report. Nothing.

I didn't see any fan fistcuffs.

The Thomas incident came moments after Keyes was illegally taken out of the game. No penalty was given for ghat eiyher nor was it put on report as all the officials missed it.

It's no wonder incidents like the Thomas one happen when an inexperieced referee loses control.

I was stood at the railings at the time of the indecent and had to move back out of the way, no public was fighting.

The reason why there wasn't a penalty is because the indecent happened off the filed of play. I was stood with an old Ref and he told me that is the rule.

He also said the Ref had made some awful decision. The one for taking Keyes out was a joke how they all missed it.

So only Gledhill saw "supporters fighting" then. Even those stood right next to it didnt see any of that.

I think that maybe says it all.

Yep, like Ricky I was stood about 20 feet from the incident, no fans got involved in fighting, that's completely made up. There was a lot of verbal but mostly directed at the s**thouse Morton who had plenty of time to not follow through with it, he knew exactly what he was doing and surely unsportsmanlike conduct should be punished whichever side of the white line it happens to be?

Mick also put on twitter that Walshaw should be imprisoned. Sadly he's one of the loudest bulls fans on spcial media so gets most exposure/replies from opposition fans and that comment just makes us and the actual incident look a joke. The incident was a serious one IMO but no one will take it seriously now because of comments like what Mick has put.

There was a heated exchange between Toovey and Kelly whigh was sorted out by having two extra stewards in the technical area.

I think when the RFL study the 26 man brawl they'll be repercussions for a number of players who decided to to take the law into their own hands.

You go visit Joe Keyes in hospital and tell him the incident was joke.

That was the most bizarre referee performance I've ever seen.

So Mick, are you not commenting on the fact you said on live radio that supporters were scrapping, when they apparently weren't?

Have I got this right...

Bulls fan tweets bulls fans fighting.

Turns out from posts on here by fans at the game that isn't the case.

Not the first time he has publicly posted inaccuracies regarding the Bulls.

And yet the club and fans are ok with this??????

Bizarre

Just listened back to what I said and for your pathetic benefit I said:

"Speakman will pepper one between Caro and Thomas on the last."

"Thomas is going to caught and trapped in goal."

"Oooooooooooh Oscar Thomas is trying to be pushed over the advertisement hordings right down in front of the main stand where the fans are involved."

If you care that much about what's going on, may I suggest stop watching films and attending games.
