| Whilst there is still a lot of doubt surrounding the broncos i did note on the VT that quite a few of their younger players have been released ? Not 100 % and would probably change if they can get themselves sorted for season - I had read a lot of good things about Bishay and caton- brown and woodburn-hall seemed to be rated well. May be good options for us to develop and work with?

| We wouldn't be alone and we might not have the muscle to go head to head if any of the big boys decide they want in.

| Most of big boys may have these positions covered in their juniors i.e. wigan /leeds may have halves they are already preparing.. wigan have hampshire and george williams.. Saints always have half backs coming through... etc etc

| I used to be an academy player at the Bronco's (when they were Harlequins) and they have a good youth set up.. One player in particular is a lad called Oscar Thomas. They rate him very highly down there, so will be interesting to see how he gets on. Along with Ant Cox, Dollapi, Caton-Brown, Dixon, Bishay, Woodburn-Hall.. But I hope they do manage to find new clubs, as they really do love the game.

| Best thing would be if they got a gig with the Broncos rather than leaving. It's a real shame what's happening down there and I hope they can sort something out, though it's looking decidedly dodgy right now.

| I think we should concentrate on keeping hold of what's left of our own young talent first.

| Broncos just announced their appointing administrators in ten days. Doesn't look good.

| Very impressed whenever I've seen Woodburn-Hall, Bishay and Caton-Brown. I really hope we're on the look out to snap them up

| It's almost impossible now for the Broncos to compete in SL next season. They only have 7 players, no ground and now administration. They will be docked 6 points by the RFL and their current predicament will mean that recruitment will be extremely difficult.
I don't understand why the Broncos/RFL have left it this late to pull the plug. Another team may have been denied the possibility of building a squad to compete in SL next season, but this cannot be done in 2 months with a part time squad.
I hope the remaining players and staff at London quickly find new employment.

| I know they have gone into administration but I really cannot see them going out of business.
If they did survive then the precedent has been set with us that in exchange for a SL licence they should lose 50% of sky money for 2yrs and the rest of league split it between themselves.
The question I have is if this were to be the case, would we be allowed to take our own cut thus reducing the deficit by our own loss of sky money???

I don't see why we shouldn't take a cut of their Sky monies or the monies of any club who end up in the situation we were in. After all, other clubs were quick enough to claim a stake of our cash.
TBH, I'd rather this was the end of London as a SL for now. Dropping them down and letting them start again and building back up while having one of Leigh, Halifax or Featherstone taking London's place in SL with a 2 year protected status, just as Catalans got when they started. If nothing else, the elevation of one of those clubs will see an improvement in the average crowd figures which would also mean more money coming into clubs which is always a good thing.

| I wish the Broncos all the very best in what will be a very unpleasant time for their fans. Surely it is now time to let them drop out of SL to rebuild on firmer foundations and laid down some proper roots?
Re any share of tv money I seem to recall we gave up 1 years (2013) but split over 2 years so I would assume we would be eligible for a share. I would rather hope that the clubs would vote to use this money on something more deserving than simply lining their own pockets this time around though.. if it comes to that.

| I might be making this up, but if SL doesn't have some representation from the south - or perhaps just a wider geographical spread than just the M62 corridor - then would the sport not lose some of its central funding? I forget the name of the funding, is it Sport England?
Anyway, if I've not just made that up then London dropping out of top flight could damage the entire sport.

| Or do we expand to Cumbria?
The attendances for the world cup games have been good, there's already a strong RL heritage there.
No single Cumbrian club could survive in SL I think, so would have to be a new Cumbrian regional club, or mergers.
