Salford are starting their recruitment for the 2014 season by purchasing Junior Sau from Melbourne Storm and also Adrian Morley from Warrington. Looks like they are recruiting well and I'm impressed with these two players going to Salford. Looks like they mean buisness.

Apparently the doctor has told the Salford fans to expect some major news on August 9th, which I think is when they play Leeds at home.
Moz is clearly there for a swansong, but could still do a job if he can keep injury free. Don't know much about Junior Sau because he isn't getting picked for Melbourne's first team (doesn't necessarily mean he's crap) but having world class backs won't do you any good if you have a poor set of forwards/halves.
They still have a fair bit of recruitment to do before they will be a decent side, time will tell between now and the start of next season - let's see what the doc has up his sleeve.

I hope they're spending some money on their youth set up as well as buying ready made players.

Good luck to them. It would be refreshing to see a new team at the top. The thought of them stuffing Wigan in the play-off semis has got me all giddy.

Corey Patterson is apparently on his way there from what I'm told. A god signing for any team. I'd rate his as the 2nd best back rower in the league at the moment, behind Liam Farrell.

Thought Paterson was homesick and was off back to Oz or is this that perculiar sort of homesickness that sees a player leave one UK club and pitch up at another e.g Hudson Smith and Joel Moon...

They can't be anywhere near the cap with the squad they have atm, so I imagine they gave plenty of room.
