Was rumoured a week or so ago. Massive loss. He's been very good for us. Thanks for everything John.

Gutted to hear this, let’s hope he’s adequately replaced but that won’t be an easy task.

Joe Brown won't get chance to repay him then.

Let's hope that we can take advantage of the systems John has put in place and the remainder of his team keep up with the good work.

Massive loss, this guy was so proud of what he had built up despite the Clubs recent problems. Hope nobody else jumps ship.

It will be interesting to see if there is a replacement appointment - either a statement of intent, or a sign we're looking to save money?

Big blow. Hopefully the systems he's put in place continue. There's a lot of unsung hero's in the academy development. It's the key to us rebuilding.

Be interesting how John finds the joint academy Hull have. Hasn't really seemed to have produced many players IMO big signing for KR though.

I think I saw something about how they're getting rid of that and going back to separate academies for both clubs. Which makes Bastian's signing make more sense

Yeh John is heading up the Hull KR academy, the joint one is being scrapped.

We were lucky that John stuck with us through the administrations and liquidations. His legacy at the club will be felt for many more years. A huge loss for the club.
