Beauty of sport, innit. Only 4 weeks ago we went to London and beat them at their place. I wouldn’t describe it as comfortable but I always felt we had some control for 60 minutes of that game, just became frantic the last 20minutes.
Since then, London have found an extra couple of gears. Really impressive. I’ve a feeling we have to mark this season down as an opportunity missed.

Be interesting to see what Toulouse do now. Been talk all year about financial issues. I know they got some investors to save them, but unsure if that was long term on the basis of being in SL.

Yes I think at least one club with a WF postcode will be either pumping in money to cover losses on a full time/hybrid side next season or will be deciding not to bother based on the gradings.

Again I was right. Wankfield's new owner is funding a full time squad that, on paper, looks better than their Superleague squad last season. If they spend up to the cap they'll be spending significantly more on wages with £1million less central funding. He must be confident of them going straight back up to fund losses of that size.

Featherstone on the other hand are cutting back on the spending as they have absolutely no chance of getting into superleague.

Lots of pressure on Trinity to deliver if their owner is splashing the cash. We've seen that end in tears a few times before to a few clubs. Hope they've got a backup plan and it's not the Steve Ferres plan.

A new squad will take time to gel and those not used to the championship might not find it as easy as they think.

If Cas were indeed owed half a point because of their error (typical RL) then Leigh would have been kicked out of SL, despite finishing 5th, winning the cup and looking like a club you'd want to go watch. Madness.

Wakey will get much better points for their new stand next year but lose in some other areas such as viewership etc just as a result of being in the championship. I think they'll replace Cas but there's not a huge amount in it.

Sorry was going off the IMG top 12 which had Toulouse 10th. So be London & Cas to drop out to be replaced with Wakey & Toulouse
