| So this is it. No more second chances. No more we'll put things right next week. This game and the next are the biggest the club have faced since that ill-fated Fev match. This one arguably more important than next as if we lose this, that's it, we're out. We SHOULD win this. Beaten Oldham twice and with them possibly having 3 suspended (incluidng two props) we should win. But we absolutely have to be on the ball. No more slack, schoolboy errors. Personally i'd line up like below (Egodo in place of Pownall if he's fit)
Pickersgill/Mcnally
Pownall
Gibson
Hytchcox
Ryan
Keyes
Chisholm
Bustin
Lilley
Crossley
Minchella
Storton
Wood
Flanagan
Peltier
Green
Garside

| Keeps coming into my mind today that if we’d have not messed around with an outside back and a half on the bench vs Workington we wouldn’t be here.
But here we are, York deserved to go up and I think we have all got a bit negative to say we have only lost 3 times in the league.
If we can win Sunday we have 2 chances to go up. We can do this and despite some disappointing performances this year I still believe we have the right man in Kear to guide us onwards and upwards over the next couple of years.
This will be a tough game though, no doubt about it. Oldham will be thinking exactly the same as us answer would relish 2 chances to go up!

Hallas's distribution is shocking! Either back-row or not at all.

| AS it's a shared gate do we know what the prices are? I believe that when it's the case in CC gate prices are open to joint discussion

Except if you lose in the Final. Then you get a second chance against either Rochdale or Swinton.

| I'd start Flanagan. Hallas maybe on the bench or in the backrow. I'd also only pick two of Keyes, Chisholm and Lilley. I'd say Lilley misses out.
McNally/Pickersgill
Hitchcox
Gibson
Egodo/Oakes
Ryan
Keyes
Chisholm
Crossley
Flanagan
Bustin
Garside
Minchella
Wood
Hallas
Peltier
Green
Storton

| No room for Lilley in this side. He was poor again on Sunday and if you can't make an impact in a game like that against poor opposition when are forwards are so dominant, then I think the writing is on the wall.
If Kear persists with shoehorning him into the side next year, it will be to our detriment.

Asbsolutely. We only need two halves in a game and JK has to decide which two it it is. Before the next game preferably.
Not sure where I am with Hallas. He looks ineffective for long periods and then puts in a solid shift of good work - will the real Sam Hallas stand up, please?
I'm also sitting on the fence with Flanagan. He has to be in the side, but as a starter or off the bench? As old Will Shakespeare once said, "that is the question". The only thing I'm certain of is that I'm not really sure...
