Now this is interesting, all our 2018 games free live stream online (depending on ground infrastructure.)
#edit#
The item and above link has been quickly removed from the bulls website now....
the proper sports link is still up;
rlhttps://www.propersport.uk/blog/proper-sport-to-broadcast-bradford-bulls-tv-games-on-facebookrl
Although Im guessing this might go the same way if someone has jumped the gun posting this on the Bulls website?....oh well.

| Great stuff IMO
The sport is massively in decline at the minute, especially in participation. We need to get people hooked on the sport, and get the sport out there. We've not really moved forward in getting the sport out to people since SL began. Its still really is only available on sky and the bbc. Streaming is how a lot of young people view media content, so its good we're getting the brand out there. The Bulls may not benefit directly a huge amount, however if someone in York stumbles across the stream on facebook on Sunday, and watches hopefully a cracking game in front of a packed house, and decides to go to a York game in person next time, then its worth it IMO

| It is good, and I'll definitely watch any game I cant get to in person, but I maybe would have delayed the home game feed until after the match finishes so that fans who attend can re-watch (although maybe they'll all be available on demand after anyway? no idea) and the small chance of people picking watching the feed rather than turning up is reduced. Just a minor thought, good idea though. More exposure for the team and sponsors has to be positive.

| Good news. Should be interesting to see if it helps attract more sponsors if their brands are reaching more people thanks to it being streamed.

| This is a very interesting move, especially when you consider the recent outbursts from Uncle Derek when he realised that he was powerless to stop the Leigh v Toronto game from being televised.
There are obviously two very different philosophies on show here from the respective club owners.

I must have missed Deggsy's outburst. Why would an owner want to stop games being televised? Was he not getting tv money?

No because it was a deal that Toronto sorted out themselves with Premier Sports.
I guess DB was worried that it might affect the crowd for the game.
On topic, I think there were around 2000 people watching the stream of the game today.
The match is available to watch on demand on Proper Sports' facebook page.

Certainly didn’t affect today’s crowd! Couldn’t make it today as I was travelling to Scotland for work so the stream was a god send! Loved Mick’s commentary and it was a brilliant feed! At peak I think 2.1K people were watching the stream. Even if thats 200 new people then it’s a cracking idea.
This is a fantatsic idea from the Bulls although I hope they don’t have that co-commentator again, Sooner have an experienced rugby person alongside Mick such as Karl Harrision who can provide another level of insight. John Keyes is a personal favourite of mine too when he was on one of the pre season games he provided a lot of behind the scenes input and also a bit better background info on some players.

| Did anyone else have trouble with the second half? I missed the first 20 mins of it because the stream wouldn't load.
Otherwise a good first effort. Hopefully it will get a little more polished as it goes along - hopefully like the on-field performance - a co-commentator who does more than advertise and a little less zooming of the camera. Shame that it's radio commentary linked to the images as the constant describing of the action is a little bit too much for me when I've got the images. But thanks for this initiative.

| I didn't have any issues at all. The resolution wasn't great but for a free online stream it definitely wasn't anything to complain about. Was an absolute Godsend as I fell ill yesterday morning and couldn't make it to the match.

There was an issue at half time where they tried to play in a video of one of Proper Sport's RL radio shows, that ended up crashing the stream and lead them to starting a new one for the second half. I got that to work right at the start of the second half but it wasn't hugely clear what was going on. Just a minor bug, and the rest of the operation was very impressive.

| I thought it was amazing to be able to not only listen to Mick's commentary - but also see it tied into live pictures as well.
There were a few glitches with the resolution, as would be expected. Hopefully that will improve over time. But I was able to mirror my desktop to our big screen TV, whacked it into full screen and put the sound output through our 5.1 system. It was actually pretty amazing when you think about it!
I do agree that getting shot of the co-commentator - who was essentially just there to plug Proper Sports - and replace him with a decent analyst like Karl Harrison or John Keyes would improve things. But you can't have everything I guess, and Proper Sports need to plug their stuff...
I'm really looking forward to my Sunday afternoons watching our away travels this season

| Best bit was when Gledhill noticed they'd been held up over the line and stated an emphatic "Good" but tried to turn it into a line that was less bit obvious he was a massive Bull.

| Mick's a huge Bulls fan as we all know. It must have been difficult to try to remain impartial on Sunday.

His "IT'S THEREEEEEEEE" when Keyes booted the penalty over was class - reminded me of Addy's conversion from the touchline to seal our miracle comeback against Leigh at home two seasons ago
