| Either of those lineups sounds good tbh. Think Henry has to wait for someone to have a bad game to get a recall. Caro straight swap for Williams and walshaw for Olbison. At least with Purtell not in squad jimmy can't try to put him in halves again
Is Williams being rested or did he get a knock last week? Would have expected etu to drop out for caro as jimmy doesn't seem to rate him.

| Danny is currently our leading scorer with 19 so I guess 'rested'.

| If Jimmy intends to play Lauaki in the play-off's surely he needs to play him in the next three games. How could he not play him then expect him to be fit?
I also expect Williams and Purtell to be on one wing in the play-off's with Blythe the other centre. Caro could well be the wing with Blythe depending on how he goes in the next three games.
The real question mark for me is how you fit Shaw in. I expect Jimmy to play Siejka and Gaskell as Jimmy seems to want a traditional number 7 rather than two stand off's. Mullaney is just as good at full back but where does that leave Shaw and his kicking? Possibly Williams is not as guaranteed as I think and it could be Shaw and Caro on the wings.
I wonder if Jimmy will risk his best players in the last two games? Pro's and Con's for both options there!

Not forgetting Mendieka either. Williams position is nailed on for me. Been consistent all year.

| Shaw has been good with his kicking but don't forget Danny Addy has a good strike record too, I wouldn't be even slightly perturbed if Danny was our kicker.

Add to sjelka kicks, although he was poor when tried at start of season. Mullaney was Salfords regular kicker although don't think he's ever done any for us (maybe related to injury he came in with?) and doesn't Gaskell kick sometimes as well. We can't include shaw just for his kicking. Think he struggled on wing so if he isn't at FB and our strongest centres are available don't see how he fits in. Would put mendeika on bench ahead of shaw as he's a little more versatile IMO.

| Siejka has 4 [over 2 games],Gaskell 3 in the one match, and Danny Addy has 16 in 3 games.
Have to say, I though Danny looked the most impressive kicker, possibly apart from Ryan, though with 8 in one match and 7 in another, it is impressive enough just as a stat but Danny also looked very assured [much more so than either Harry or Gasky] and has a good strong 'boot' on him. He'd definitely be my 'go to man' for anything over 35 metres out. To be honest I was a teensy bit surprised when Ryan took over again after coming back into the side as Danny was kicking really well. Think it's fair to say we are lucky to have two such kickers in the side, whoever is regarded as no.1.

Cant argue with this, need Lauaki in the next 3 games otherwise what was the point of singing him (i suspect to keep him from other teams), and i think we also need to have Mullaney playing as much as he can as i have no faith in Seijka causing teams problems.

| Agree with that, Lauaki should be playing, and in top gear, now.
Not sure about buying someone "to prevent him going to others" It almost makes us sound like Wigan of the nineties!!
To be honest, if we really had that amount of cash to use for such as that, I could easily find a better use for it

| Would it make sense to give one of clough/sidlow a rest this week and play Fleming on bench with a view to freshening them up for middle eights?. Think crosssley could start without too much issue.

| Well I'm off to watch Dewsbury and London today, no doubt Karl Pryce will score against one of his old clubs as per usual

I'm fairly sure Clough has been ever present in the league this season but I think these final three games are too important to leave him out of. I might be tempted to rest him for the Halifax game if first place is gone, but I think keeping up the match fitness is important going into the 8s. We should've given Clough a week off earlier in the season.
