Joe Arundel and Jay Pitts.

Good signings. Both Super League quality in my opinion. Pitts is a good metre-eater style forward with a good offload on him.

A LF and a centre? are they what we need?

Can't understand the Arundel signing, I don't rate him at all and I would say that the backs are the least of our worries.
Pleased with the Pitts one though, fills a position we're lacking in and he actually looks like a decent player.

I quite rate Arundel - I assume a replace for Blythe - although I suppose we'll have to wait and see what he's like.

It's all about bodies and bringing in fresh faces and attitudes.

Arundel in the centre might mean keeping Blythe in the back row when fit. Defence looks far better with a back row of Blythe, Ferguson, Donaldson. Addy and Olbison aren't the strongest defenders.

Pitts has played at LF, but only in the extra prop role. I imagine Franny will have plans for him in the front row.

Pitts will go straight into this weekends squad. Arundel to make his debut against Wire in May.

Good signings. Pitts a back rower but can play at prop so a good signing. Happy with Arundel. While we may have Some depth, we conceded 132 points in last two games so its not as if they are playing well. Its another player that wont cost us anything (i presume) not Really a downside. Henry is struggling defensively as well.

I guess there has to be some advantage in having ex-Bulls coaching all over SL...

Weren't we in the hunt to sign Pitts in the off season?

Think minimum initial loan is one month with no recall option so at least we can plan round them being available for next four weeks, unlike our 'season long' loaners. By end of that month we should be getting some bodies back plus it's around time any overseas recruits could feasibly arrive.

With you for rest of season but subject to recall according to FC website. Expect both will be with you for full period as we have sufficient cover, with another player arival imminent.
