does anyone know if green has enough money to bring in better players. Know he has turnovers of 45 million for his companies. surely he could get us some better players. Surely some players knocking about in NSW cup and queensland cup if not nrl and how about rugby union, doesnt count on the cap too. Or even championship at the minute

we cant sign overseas players until our license to apply for visas is transferred across to new holding company. once that happens we then have to start applying for visas which usually takes a few weeks. union players not counting on cap is pretty irrelevent as cap space isnt an issue.

Most people still talk solely about Mr Green doing things. I believe it will mostly come down to what Ferres says to him this week and in the next few weeks. Everything I have been told about Ferres is that he is a very astute manager who likes things done his way and won't put up with a "fudge" job. A tough cookie is how one experienced person described him. This is probably what we now need but has he come in too late to save us.

If we go down no doubt Green and Co will get the blame but it may already be too late. We can't get overseas players in for about another month. Nobby is being called for but he is probably tied in to Salford contract till the legal people have got him the best deal before he can leave.
It is a shame Ferres wasn't OK's first signing instead of Whittcut.

It just feels like we are dying a death from a thousand cuts and are being slowly prepared for the drop week by week so it isn't a shock to us all when it gets confirmed in August.

Looked irritated by Bill Arthur's questioning. Wakey bloke stuck the knife in a bit, not fair and so on. Not fair we were effectively fined 1.2 million unlike any other club.

Yeah my impression was he came across as very defensive when asked anything. Also interesting how the interviewer never asked the Wakefield chairman how he feels about benefitting from our money and two players as a result of the admin.

Must say I have to agree with Carter's viewpoint in all of this. Wakefield would not have got Sammut and Scruton had Bradford taken the action Wakefield did in selling players to stave of admin they would have gone elsewhere. It was only Carter's careful budgeting that aloud them to buy these players when the£300k windfall came along.
