| Saw Bobbie Goulding tweeted that Bulls were in for Seymour on Sat. Couldn't work out if he was on the wind up or genuine though.

| Whoever the names are, I very much doubt our tiny squad will be staying so tiny for much longer.
We saw today what is needed. I doubt we will be the only ones.

| Brett Seymour is not what Bradford Bulls need, and more so, Bradford Bulls are not what Brett Seymour needs.
We dodged an almighty bullet by missing out on him in the first place.
Mason, yeah maybe if he can come on a "pay as you play but don't give away penalties" type contract. Fielden would be an almighty S.O.S but I think he'd have a lot of work to do on his problem knees.

| One things for sure, I can't see us signing both Mason and Fielden. Seem to remember they don't get on.

| Didn't they play together at Hudds in Fieldens first season, 2012?

I thought last year (2013) was Fielden's first at Huddersfield?

| Dont post on here but enjoy reading most of the time.
Wanted to add a little bit on Mason.
Work with someone who was over doing a delivery at the company where Masons dad is a forklift driver.
Was told that Franny had been in contact with him. Also said he would like him to sign for us. Also judging by how he was on the radio it might suggest he is leaning towards signing up if we give him an offer.
Would add some bulk and experience but comes with the cost of giving away a few penalties .

I remember hearing Fielden gave evidence at his trial saying he was average and didn't deserve the wage he was taking home.

| The first people I'd be speaking to would be Ryan McGoldrick and Keith Mason. Neither of them probably fit into Franny's "culture" that he's trying to achieve, but there are already lads in the squad that enjoy a night out as much as the next man, so I'm sure they wouldn't be on their own.
Both are experienced Super League players. Mason gives us a prop, where we're very light. He might not tear up any trees, but he's a meter eater who can make 7-8m and get a quick play the ball, and adds a bit of aggression.
McGoldrick gives us an option at fullback, centre, halfback. Puts a bit of pressure on other lads to perform rather than knowing that they'll walk into the team.
Another to look at would be Hephlame Luaki, although whatever he did to warrant his treatment at Wigan must have been pretty bad, so I'd tread carefully on that one.

| I am relatively happy with our backs as we still have George and Blythe to come in. I would like to see George as he is big and is very quick. But who do you drop?
Kearney and Addey are cover at the halves with Kear / Foster cover at full back.
I would throw any money we have at two or three tough forwards. Two props for me. I would take Mason on a one year deal with possible extension. The deal with Mexico may be dead as wouldn't he be here by now?
We still have one overseas slot. There must be a decent experienced forward down under who is warming the bench or not getting guaranteed place who fancies a couple of years living and working in the "pearl" of Yorkshire. Lets phone the contacts we have down there to see if they know of someone.
I am sure Franny and the current directors saw us lose yesterday because we lost the battle in the middle. Something has to be done quickly but we are only a couple of new players short along with getting Ferguson fit. Three extra (tough) forwards yesterday would have made a big difference.

| Also, to add on Keith Mason, would he have had any sort of pre-season? I doubt it. That's a big risk looking for a prop who's had months away from full-time training.
I dunno if this is contradictory but I stiil think we should be banging down the door of Lee Jewitt.

| What's Darrell Griffin up to these days?
I know he spent some time at Salford last year, did he go back to Leeds? Can't imagine he would be guaranteed a game at our arch rivals.

Lee Jewitt is a good call.
