We seem to have an excellent crop of youngsters coming through now and Francis is introducing them to the environment very well. Yes tonight we were playing a understrength Giants side, they still had some experience in there though, but opposition aside and in general, our young lads have stood up really well this season when they've been asked upon. Danny Addy seems to becoming of age and with some finishing touches Imo has the potential to be the best player at the club. Olbison is another that needs a but of work on the defensive side, but he's also another that could go along way. Really impressed with the rookies today, Mellor, Wood, Naughton and Conroy, all made big contributions to the game. How good was Naughtons return of the ball. Haven't seen that sort of pace at the back for a long time, a bit more upper body strength and he's going to be busting tackles and getting us on the front foot. Conroy also showed quality vision and pace from dummy half too. I'm very excited about the next five years.

I was very impressed with Naughton. He is very quick and can bust through tackles.

I thought Naughton was very impressive tonight. I think our replacement for Lulia will be very important, lets hope we've got a decent replacement signed up.

Kearney, L'Estrange, Diskin. Today was a warning, none of you have a guaranteed spot. O'Brien and Naughton are breathing down your necks and tonight's game showed they are banging on the first team door and deserve both recognition and opportunity for continued first team game time

I wasn't that impressed with Obrien. He is tenacious, but his distribution is laboured. I thought Conroy showed better vision and passing.

Generally agree with B4C, including about Addy and Olbison.

Thought Ben Evans showed enough to think that a big pre-season will see him improve massively. Love to see us make another Carvell type signing.

I thought both O'brien and Conroy showed showed more than Diskin.
I like the guy, but his pace is gone, he barely runs from dummy half and 12 months from now isn't going to be any prettier.
Good move by FC to give Conroy a game though. Thinking he was 4th choice all next year wouldn't be good, least he's had a taste in a good win.

Conroy will probably know he's going to be 4th choice next season, unless he gets his nose in front of OB. I mean he's only been a full time pro for what 12 weeks and he's already made his debut. But it's not going to be for to long, probably 2015 and hes going to be 3rd choice, year after that who knows?

Yeah he'll know, just thought it was good move and hopefully inspire the academy to work hard.
I'd like to think juniors know if they decide to sign for the Bulls, they'll get a crack and the squad smaller gives them the opportunities. Look at Liam McAvoy, would have got game time instead of Fairbank this year. Now he's being released by Leeds.

Extremely impressed with Naughton today. Ran the ball in hard and didn't look to bad under pressure from the high ball. I seem to remember he only made one mistake whilst defending the line. I also thought that Addy showed why we signed him up on a new deal.

Good way to finish a rather disappointing season.

He always looked on the small side to me. But he would have probably got a game this year as you say. Glad we didn't sign that Fairbank though.

Yeh agree, Evans is 3 years younger and looks a lot better. Has next years loan being announced yet??
