I remember that match. McGowan was magnificent and the only thing wrong with the game from our pov was the two late tries we conceded to make it look as if Saints were in the game - they weren't!

Can anyone remember the wet game at Odsal, between us and Saints, where Shaun Long broke through the line and attempted a 10m dive to the line?
When he hit the floor it dislodged the ball, and he slid over ball, then over the goal line leaving the ball in play.
I keep trying to find the video clip on YouTube but there is nothing!

I remember the 1998 game very well although I didn't think it was 15 year ago till it was pointed out on here it was 98

Great work. Look forward to seeing a few more videos uploaded in the future.
My personal favourite is the victory against Leeds from the 1999 season. 2 fantastic moments in that second half. Nathan McAvoy scoring from the McNamara cross field kick and the Michael Withers drop goal to win it.

| Re Saints game 1992--cheers for that,I was there.Fairbank,Watson,Summers,Mcgowan,Derek Fox et al.Great times.Peter Fox knew what type of player he wanted and had the coaching ability to get the best out of them all and blend them into a formidable unit.
Fairbank,one of my all time favourite Bradford players.
Great to see those tries again.Time flies when you are having fun.  ) |
