| Yes, if we can just start picking up wins in the games we should fancy winning i.e. not away at Wigan.
Try putting in your idea of the likely result of every remaining fixture and see what you come up with. Surprisingly - because of the way the fixtures fall for the teams around us - it still seems to me our most likely finish is 7th. Here's my predicted final league table as it stands.
Wigan 45
Warrington 39
Leeds 37
Hudds 36
Hull FC 34
Catalans 30
Bradford 28
St. Helens 25
Hull KR 24
Widnes 20
Wakefield 17
London 11
Castleford 10
Salford 8

| Who are you thinking our six wins are going to come from? Widnes, wakey,London and cas seem likely but can't see where your getting other two from. Catalans and hull fc are potentially winnable but think they would be classed as upsets tbh. Think 8th is more realistic and that depends on hull kr not picking up another upset like Fridays.

| We'll need a huge amount of improvement to win 6 out of the final 9 games and I'd consider myself reasonably optimistic!
I expect we'll probably put in a brilliant home performance against Hull FC and then throw all that effort away by losing to Wakefield.

| Sorry FA but got to disagree with you on this one
Without checking I think Hull KR have got Salford,Widnes and London in their remaining games,if they were to win just them 3 that means we would have to win 4 of our remaining games just to draw level on points with them
They are on a decent run now, apart from Magic weekend robbery, whereas we are complete opposite
The last 2 games really have changed things for us,played both the teams which were immediately below us and now they are both immediately above
No point for if,buts and maybes, last 2 weeks will probably go some way to us finishing 9,which will mean we have been the 9th best team in the league out if 14,not good enough

| I feel we need to win against all the teams below us plus some against the big boys. Catalans at home is a key one for me, we really need to win that. I think we also need to pull off a victory against Wigan/Wire/Hull or Hudds as I can't see us beating all the teams below us. Cas and Wakey away is no gimme.
Predicting what KR will do is impossible. They will beat Wire one week then lose to London.
Our home games are key for me.

| I can see Rovers getting at least another 6 points, with the games away to Saints and home to FC being crucial - depending on form at the time they could well get a win or two from those matches.
We have some away games at Cas and Wakey that are tricky, but in all honesty if we are expecting to make the playoffs then those are the games you need to be winning. If we can pick wins up in those matches, plus the home games against Widnes and London (Widnes will be tricky too if Friday night is anything to go by) then that gives us a further 8 points.
That would put us both on 24 points. Currently we have the better points difference by 36 points, which could be very important come the end of the season.
On top of that you have to look at home and away fixtures. Rovers are only at home 3 times in the last 9 fixtures. We are at home 6 times.
The home games against Hull, Catalans and the Giants could be where we pick up some bonus league points if we put the effort in.

Never liked Kevin Costner, or any other Robbing Hood!!!!: |

| Bradford City's late season success shows that if you believe things are possible, they just might be! 11 points of the playoffs with just 10 games left and they won the thing. Now obviously, the circumstances are different, but until its over, its still on! This week off could be a blessing. Maybe, a couple of sore/busted players will recover, maybe the whitehead situation might be solved one way or another, maybe we will see our players training more, and visiting Nandos and Costa a bit less. who knows???
In my heart of hearts, I think we've lost too much momentum, and those who were below us have built the momentum into their seasons at just the right time (like City did with theirs). but until its mathematically over, lets get behind the team and believe!

| When I looked at your remaining fixtures a few weeks back I commented that you might only have 1 or 2 games remaining where you might be expected to win. Nothing has changed for the positive since then.
