| Been having a think about this recently,I wonder how many tickets the Bulls are hoping/wanting/needing to sell to make this a success financially.
No idea how many tickets have been sold so far( we have bought 12) if they were to sell 10,000 at minimum of £20 each, that's 200k,again no idea what costs would be,marketing, stewarding, the acts etc etc
I wonder if all the costs would come to 50%,that's 100k based on 10,000.
If that were to be the case a profit of around 100k is pretty damned good, these figures are only my guessing so may be some way out
Come to think of it,next year we could have a concert every weekend from beginning of May up until 23rd June, while Odsal isn't used and recoup the Sky money in a few weeks
Anyway I hope the 80s concert is a success and more to come

| I thought they said they needed to sell 12k to cover costs? Not sure where I read or heard it from though so don't hold me to it!

| Bloody hell,12k at £20 a pop,makes my wild guess of 100k a fair bit out
None of us will have any idea how much it may cost to put an event like this on but 240,000 does seem rather high, wonder how much each act can command these days, the concert starts at 7 so they are only gonna have about half hour each, that might be 25 minutes too long for Sonia, don't know what she's gonna sing after You'll Never Stop Me From Loving You

| The Conceert has cost £300k to stage.
There are other acts on such as Chesney Hawkes, TPau & Kim Wild etc. The acts on the posters are just the headliners i think. Concert should last 3-4 hours.

| Joe Tamani is this you making things up again like your long list of acts that were gonna be on on the Sunday, also you starting rumours on this forum and south Sydney forum about Roy Asotasi coming to the bulls, that's the fifth year on the trot you have done that
Your new list of acts for the Saturday is interesting, wonder if any of the acts know they are appearing at the bulls

| TBH I did wonder who would go to a concert made up of the acts mentioned, but I hope to be surprised.
80s acts isn't necessarily a bad idea but they need to be more than a collection of one hit wonders.

| We seem to be talking as if the Bulls [or maybe Omar] are the promoter. Is this actually the case?
If the club is the promoter then all the profits and possible losses will come our way, but if the club has merely 'let' the ground for an outside promoter's use then it all changes and the profits will go to the promoter though, on the plus side, we will still be due the letting fee, even if there is no actual profit. Does anyone know?

| The Promoter Is OK Bulls. Ticket sales are going very well and the club will make a nice profit. Im looking forward to it and it should be a great night out
In relation to the names on here I posted. all were contacted and agreed. but other contracts didnt allow them to perform. As this was confirmed in the T&A.
Contracts are being talked about for next year so they dont have the same problems.

And how could it of been agreed with the other names you mentioned but other contracts wouldn't allow it,surely that's a contradiction in terms
And finally what contracts are been talked about for next year

| The Kaisers couldnt play at Odsal due to a deal to play elsewhere (I think it was york) that could effect the ticket sales for that event.
So were not allowed to take the Odsal gig due to clauses in the contract they had already signed with other summer events. Likewise with other artists.
The Killers are to Tour the uk in 2014 and Odsal has been mentioned. Along with other bands and Artists.
The main event for next year that is being looked at is a whole weekend. Starting Friday, All day Sat & Sunday. like Bingley but a lot bigger but not as big as Leeds Festival etc.
When I last heard. 12,400 tickets had been sold but that was about 3 weeks ago. Before the deal went on Groupon and other websites.
I know that the ticket office has been very busy last week and they are having a big marketing push to get tickets sold.

| At the last forum I spoke to the guy stage right who fielded most of the questions (Ryan is it?) and he answered my question afterwards saying they'd sold about 4,500 tickets. And this was the weekend of the Wigan game, 4 and a half weeks ago.
