| Compared to the HKR game when the Rooley terrace was shut and few away fans I was surprised when the gate was announced at only 2000 more, looked to be more?
Just a shame we could not deliver on the pitch but at least most of the fans kept behind the team even when it was obvious we had lost it in the opening quarter.

| I thought there looked to be more than the gate that was announced.

| Not much space around us on the terraces for once but I thought the stand looked to have large gaps in it. Best away support of the year so far.

| Last season that would have been 14000. Wouldn't have looked any fuller but would have been 14000

I was thinking that too!

| I don't think the head count can be too accurate, when having our passes scanned as we arrived into the car park behind the Coral stand the hand held scanners were not working and we were just waved through. This also happened for the Salford game. It is also possible to walk through that entrance and round to the main stand I think, so this could account for a few missing numbers but not too many.

| The point has been made many times that it wasn't a head count last year, and it isn't this year. It is the number of people who buy tickets for the game so 7000 (or whatever it now is) plus the number who pay at the gate.
Looked about right to me, and of course if season tickets count, attend or not, then scanners not working would be irrelevant.

| Didn't I see someone say there were 25 full coaches turn up from Wigan?
While I thought their following was excellent, that seemed a little on the exaggeration side.

| 25 coaches is only at max 1200 people though. They're coaches, not trains.

True, but a lot of people drive to games rather than take coaches. I wouldn't expect near to that many coming on coach to a regular away game.

| We're not a regular away game. We're Bradford.
It was a good enough Wigan turnout, I'd estimate in all they probably had around 2,000 in the ground, which is not as good as some occasions in the past, but a very creditable turnout nevertheless, and better than most.

| February 20th 2004, Bulls 34 Wigan 6 att 17,267
I wonder what the missing 7,368 were doing yesterday.
The fixture has lost almost half its support (42.7%) in nine years- massive drop in any sport.

What a stupid remark. The fixture hasn't "lost" ANY of its support "in nine years". Every time we play Wigan, or anyone, the attendance is different, or hadn't you noticed? If, (for example) we met Wigan at home in the playoffs on a warm autumn night we could easily match that sort of attendance, so what - would we then have "found" some people?

| I though Wigan's away support was pretty good yesterday considering the football team was at Wembley the day before. As when City were down there, I reckon a fair few might have made a weekend of it or perhaps weren't back yet.
