After a very good win against Huddersfield, we now face a trip to the Widnes Vikings. This will be a tougher game than last year's visit to Widnes. They look to have settled down in Super League now and will be full of confidence after beating Hull FC on Saturday night. Likewise, we should be full of confidence, after beating the league leaders at their home ground. We have John Bateman returning from injury, and Danny Addy is expected to be passed fit after a bang to the head on Sunday. Widnes will be slightly understrength, with the influential Kevin Brown sidelined, alongside Stefan Marsh. Widnes will want a win to push into the 8, and we also have the chance to push into the top 4.

Let's hope for a win on Friday night!

First I've heard of this, Cummins has named an unchanged side so can't be too serious otherwise surely he wouldn't risk him. If he is out I'd imagine with no Gale it'll be Sammut or Addy to take the kicks.

Foster being unavailable is a big blow. Makes this even more of a banana skin than it already was. Only positive is we've presumably known this will have been a possibility all week and trained accordingly.
Really not sure what best way to cover is. Presumably Blythe moves to wing but question is who to play in centres. If diskins fit would be tempted to switch whitehead to centre and diskins into second row alongside walker to try and counter hock and play Donaldson full eighty at LF and obrien as second hooker. Not really keen on though of Olbison or murphy being pitted against hock. Could murphy play centre ( don't know if he's ever played thre) or given fosters an genuine injury could we call Sam wood into the squad?
